I started making these videos shortly after I made the decision to take more positive action in my life just after my daughter was born. The biggest change I’ve made has been the number of books I now read and listen to which has really improved things for me particularly in my business. Doing these reviews help me sharpen my thoughts and makes me think more clearly about what I’ve learned. I’m a coach and consultant so I’m also passionate about helping people improve and reach their potential so I find this is a fun side line interest. Set yourself as the main overriding driver/phone and each time it sees both phones, it will take yours as the preference and set things for you accordingly.

@@maggygwireselect your profile like you have. Then go to settings in the car, Locks and then you’ll see all the phone keys and key cards. Press the little person icon next to your phone key when you’ve got your profile you’ve selected. Then who ever unlocks the car it will go the right profile each time automatically

This video has 0 actual information about the differences between Model Y 2022 and 2024, which is disappointing. All the money talk is interesting I guess, but you don't need a video to understand that a 2 year old car is cheaper. What you get with 22: * Stiffer suspension, they switched to comfort only in 2023. I replaced mine on MYP with new partnumbers, doesn't actually cost much. * HW3 vs. HW4. Tesla had real issues optimizing FSD 12.5 for HW3. I guess it's not relevant for UK yet, but at some point it will be. Right now it seems likely that HW3 cars will have worse FSD performance compared to HW4. Also in addition to FSD you get less-wide-angle rear camera and worse camera resolution. * You might get an Intel chipset with 2022, AMD Ryzen is much snappier. Otherwise it's a great car, congrats.

The info you’ve just given there is interesting so thank you. One thing I do know is I’m happy with the purchase so far but I think I’d feel a bit annoyed had I paid £56K for a new one. Each to their own on that one of course 👍
I have red with black seats, those white seats do look stunning though and very much in keeping with the brand and the minimalist look. .Dr bronners castle liquid baby soap, a bit of water, and a microfibre do not damage the seats or leave any marks. Word of warning, given its packing 400bhp the brakes are not amazing if you are a driver that really likes to press on, the car does not stop as quick as it should when you get into the higher speeds (sorry officer) and slam on - you will not stop as quickly as that M sport BMW. Fine in normal driving and one touch pedal however.

@@maggygwire not found a problem in normal driving keeping to speed limits with the odd squirt of acceleration, if you go beyond that, then their limitations become clear, perhaps because of the weight of the car. The 20 inch wheels are a must for the looks. Enjoy the new car looks great!
Its kind of being proven it doesn't really matter about that 80-90% charge. If you're cautious 90% is totally fine. My next Tesla I'll be charging from home @ 100% every time. If you're worried about battery longevity there's a few auto trader videos on YT about a taxi drivers 2016 Model S with 400k on the clock. Charged 100% from day one and as I recall. Original battery, and has only lost 12% from factory. Check out those videos, easy enough to find.
@@specialkcitizen6263 yeah I saw that one and it has made me wonder. I’m charging to 100% when needed for long trips but day to day I tend to stay around 50 - 80% for now
We recently bought a 2021 Model 3 LR - I'd highly recommend going through an EV specialist who knows what they are doing rather than a car 'supermarket' for one.
Picked mine up last week and I had the same problem re my settings not saving! You need to link your phone key to your profile, should solve the issue!
There are a few cameras that are supposed to assist. But what are these like when they get filfthy through rain and dirt. I hear they've got rid of parking sensors for cameras.
@@joennick1 the new one I nearly bought had no sensors but I heard it all worked just as well? I’ll be testing the car over the winter with all the uk road muck and salt so it’ll be interesting to see how the sensors work in those conditions
Just looked and I can’t find any pictures of it. If I remember rightly I checked and it suggested it was a ‘23 model. I couldn’t get a clear answer on whether that made it any different to a ‘24 model. That was what put me off. Didn’t want to spend £54K on a car I wasn’t 100% sure on

Im sure i did this is the app. Had my TM3sr+ for almost 5months now (bought 2022 model with less than 20k miles) loved driving it everyday since. Autopilot is a dream on long journeys (well marked roads) 😄
@@ftb2772 I just tried autopilot on a minor road and it did well until someone stopped to make a right turn then it panicked a bit but it is very good on motorway etc like you say. Just another nice bit of tech

There has been lots of incremental tweaks that are not obvious. Like the Highland M3, the Juniper will effectively be a significant facelift model with some worthwhile improvements. I just got a current Model Y on lease because the deal was so good and I wanted one with the stalks. The Juniper will likely follow the Highland M3 and delete the stalks. If I was buying I would probably wait for the Juniper or buy a 2 yr old current MY
@@gap9992 I drove a model 3 performance 2024 model and lovely as it was the lack of stalks was a step too far. Trying to signal when the wheel is turned is just not practical at all
To be fair the Model Y has changed significantly if you include the use of the Gigapress, the intro of the Rizen chip, and chipset and camera updates as well as all the over the air updates. But the beefier Juniper computer will definitely open the door for big future AI developments.
Also if tesla take a car back in as p/x the new owner doesn't get the free lifetime charging (on certain models) but if it's bought privately it can be transferred

Ouuf such a lovely looking car. My buddies have owned them, love the sweet engine sound, however i must have a four door for work… (such a cop out) i drive Tesla Model 3 rwd also a beautiful car imo.
Hey Tom! i’m 19 and a die hard euro fan, i am located in america and have the chance to trade my 98 chevy k1500 for a bmw 545i from 04 with over 180k on the dash would you jump on that or do you warn against its reliability in a everyday use situation
I’d say as long as you can afford it go for it. You may be lucky. My 545i never left me stranded once it just needed maintenance from time to time. With that mileage it’ll likely need something doing but essentially the V8 engine is not that stressed. I must’ve redlined mine regularly for 100K miles which is something I’ve not done on any other car simple because I’ve not felt happy to which says a lot about them!
I live in Napa with crazy mountain turns hair pins beautiful winding roads long stretched crest over right turns and left. The msport 35i x3 2017 I have drives incredible and I’ve owned older bmws. I’m actually really surprised at how well this sub handles. For reference I race vehicles in amateur league, so I understand what a car feels like at the limit, didn’t say I’m a great driver 😅but I do have some experience and this vehicle really holds its own. I wonder have you ever really pushed it around some back roads?
@@LafemmebearMusic to be fair I never really did push it that hard. We’ve got some great back roads here in Cornwall but I’ve got a cayman s for my handling needs! The bmw was always a comfort car for me. I loved the ride and handling for such a big car though especially once I put non run flats on 👍
I think the whole premise of the book is that you are not giving up, you are stopping. If you continue to feel and say you’ve given up sadly you are likely to revert to the demon poison. I stopped 7 and a half years ago and haven’t looked back.

Sadly this is the end of the UK. Labour will win by default. But Keir Stammers manifesto will do more harm than good. I doubt he even understands what he put forward. But he put forward a anti-monarchy turning the UK into a republic. This will no doubt end in a civil war. Socialism is rot. The working class have no clue what socialism really is. Modern socialism is for your upper class children. Posh kids, and middle class. Generally they hate the working class and poor. Conservative sadly have been misrepresented as the party of low taxes and for businesses. This is a lie. The conservative party have always been for big government and large taxes. The idea is the state owners get the wealth. We don't actually have a right wing party within the UK. Right wing governments are for liberty, Laissez-faire politics and capitalist ideals. The right are for ending big government. Lowering taxes. And letting people get on with their lives. Many have described a good government of liberty is one that you barely realise it is exists. F.A. Hayek Road to serfdom is worth a listen to if you want to understand how the UK fell to socialism. 2 world wars. Would see more state control over the economy. We no longer have money instead we have currency. But Hayek is good. Thomas Sowell is good too. Murray Rothbard Progressive era is worth listen too while American still applies to the UK. And Americas great depression.
I do hear you and thanks for the comment. Personally I don’t think there will be much difference between starmers labour and the current Tory government. I don’t think we really have proper right or left other than the odd nutters who always appeal to some. UKIP and Reform. I’m somewhere in the middle as I don’t believe we should tear it all down but careful and considered change does need to happen. We need to tax the super rich or we will inevitably lose everything to them if we haven’t already. I’m a fan of the free market but to allow those who earn tens of thousands a week and much more to avoid tax is plain wrong. Labour sadly won’t address this but they absolutely should
This is a very excellent and honest review. I say that as someone who has been to boarding school myself and was very badly abused both physically, psychologically and sexually. Please do get Charles' Spencer's book everyone. To let you know Piers Cross is an excellent therapist who specialises in empowering people who have been badly damaged at boarding school or are in a relationship with someone who has been. He has done a really excellent video on U tube interviewing Charles Spencer about his book. It is really great hear such two emotionally honest and mature men talking to each other about this very very difficult subject. Also others to watch out for are the therapist Joy Shaverin who coined the term boarding school syndrome and the psychological historian Nick Duffel whose two books The Making of Them and Wounded Leaders are simply excellent. If you have been seriously psychologically wounded by your experiences at boarding school my heart goes right out you and there is an organisation called Boarding School Survivors Support. Remember help is out there and never believe the frightened hateful propaganda of the bullies. You really really are worth it.
