Some things I keep for my personal collection but other things I sell to make a small profit, when things are to far gone I scrap them for money. All the cars were dog turd slow but still fun to watch. The end of this era was about the time I got into cars and drag racing. Cars started getting a lot faster in the early 90s and it just snowballed from there.
The good ole' days back when it was nothing but raw motor none of this computer garbage lol this video went from Good times to a horror real fast when that guy wrecked that beautiful SS and that car was running really good. For some reason I can't put my finger on what kind of vehicle that is I know it's not a Chevelle does anybody know what kind of ss that red car is that wrecked
I was made in the 60's, grew up in the 70's and wrenched and raced professionally for the next 40 years. I would never ever want to go back to those days. Today's cars and technology are so damn good, it's nice to be reminiscent, but I love new technology better than old, and I currently own both. I guess I got spoiled working on strictly high end imports. 😅🔧

Brings back the memories of high school days and hitting the spots where guys raced the cool old Chevy's, Fords and Mopars on the strips at night. All great comments on here too!
Back in the mid 70's our small country town would challenge the next small town over..in those days teenagers getting their license had one thing in mind..motorhead mania..everyone had their version of a car to race..some were even mom and dad's family car..sleepers with horse power was the game..you could buy a friends car for fifty dollars back then although maybe not a car to race but it was decent enough to drive..The car to beat from our town was a 69 Super Bee Yellow with Black trim 383..Wasn't a car around that could beat it..the town over.. their car to beat was a 69 Camero they called the pickle..lime green with a 396..Still wasn't able to beat that old 383 Mopar ..
