I don't know whats changed or happened over the last 2 years but it seems like people dislike me and my videos and the thing is I don't know what I did so wrong to make you all angry at me. I really had my whole heart in this channel for the longest time but its really depressing that everyone keeps putting me down. Whatever I did to offend everybody I officially apologize. I'm at a point where I feel like I should just give up here.

Eastern Explorer. Don't give up, if you enjoy making these video's, keep it up, no matter what you do there will be people with negative comments and then there are the trolls who just try to get a rise out of people. I enjoy your video's and hope you keep it up. As always thanks for the adventure!!!!

I enjoy your videos but if others don't they can choose not to watch. I have seen all your videos and look forward to more. I see no reasons to dislike you. I feel you are a very nice young man who is kind enough to share your videos.

Don't sweat it man. The world is full of assholes that think the world wants to hear their opinion. In the end, it's just shit talk. Keep doing what you enjoy doing. I like your vids and wish I had more time to do some more exploring of my own. Cheers!

We used to live in a Victorian era cottage (had been servants quarters)on a small family farm- our landlords lived across the pasture from us in one of the original large estate houses that existed along our road. Two creeks met up and merged just beyond our back lawn area and my kids and I would spend hours playing and exploring there. One day my son had a friend over and they'd started digging in an area above the creek that had always appeared like a sunken in crevice- and found a small child's size silver mirror with handle and flowers engraved on backside along with some other amazing things. That's when we realized it had been the garbage dump years back. We started doing creek walks to explore the three other burn sites/old dumps that we'd found further up the creek and would look up the treasure we found online to learn more about the history (e.g. A milk bottle with letters FD turned out to have been from Faught Dairy which we learned had existed down nearby on Faugt road). Old ink bottles, lanterns, tons and tons of dishwear and bottles of ALL sizes, porcelain doll parts. That was an amazing time! My older son was in school at the time and my 3 year old, home with me, would beg to walk the creek looking for treasure... we had to be fair and not do too much digging until C got home from school!!!

In a world that seems to have an overpopulation of assholes you are a breath of fresh air. You come across as a good natured, kind hearted person and I, for one, really enjoy and look forward to your videos. I live in Kodiak Alaska and there are lots of places to explore around here that have old WW II artifacts lying around. As for preserving the wood, let it dry out really good and then coat it in clear epoxy, it'll last forever.

In case you hadn't noticed, all the negativity from the ass clowns is what played a part in sponsors pulling out of you tube. Its a shame so few have to ruin it for so many. I enjoy your videos. I used to live in New England and as a kid I was always digging thru old dumps and foundations. My greatest find was a blown black bottle from the late 1700's (if I remember correctly). As others have said, keep doing what you're doing.
@EasternExplorer
@EasternExplorer 7 лет назад
I've never had a sponsor on RU-vid but I would probably consider it if the terms were right. If somebody offered up some metal detecting gear or digging tools or even outdoor wear I would be game for that. It will probably never happen though.

I think its an issue on RU-vids end. I'm sorry about this. I would delete it and reupload but it takes me 15 hours to upload a video so it wouldn't be live again untill tomorrow night. I think its just better to right it off and hope they get the next one right. Regarding your other comment, I have not gotten any Oxalic acid yet but I've kept it in the back of my mind and do plan on trying one day.

For some reason RU-vid seems to have messed up. They usually process it into many formats but for some reason they are only offering this video in 720p and 1080p. I think thats the issue because older systems can't play HD. I could delete it and reupload it but it takes 15 hours to upload the video so its probably better just to write it off and hope they get the next one right.

I enjoy your videos and like your passion. However, you aren't doing any real digging. You're just picking the surface. You don't even have a handheld claw rake. If you want to find treasure you got to get a shovel and start digging deep into that dump and then you'll find so much treasure you wouldn't believe it. If there's that much stuff on the surface imagine what is underneath? You are in a really good potential hotspot there but you're missing out unless you start digging. Take it from me who is a longtime treasure hunter. I dig in about 30 different dumps and I'm finding so much stuff I ran out of room and have no place to put it. Happy hunting.
