Jesse and I (Hannah) dream of white sandy beaches, the open waters, and adventure. We both have very demanding careers in the field of technology, and would love to someday buy a sailboat and trade in our stressful lives in order to live life to the fullest and explore this beautiful planet by sea.
We are only at the beginning of our journey. So far we have purchased a 42' Uniflite motor yacht in need of some serious love. Once we are finished with the necessary restoration projects, we will start by exploring the islands around us in Washington state.

You two remind me of my spouse and I . We are on our 13 th boat after 44 years of marriage. Some boats were more projects than others. You are on the right track. We have completed the great Loop and spent 6 seasons in the Bahamas as a result of the sweat equity we put in to our boats. Loved your U tube episodes.❤
For anyone interested in a little trick for bilge sludge and oil residue, fill a commercial spray bottle 1/2 and 1/2 with Dawn Platinum Dish Soup and steaming hot water. Spray the bilge box down and just let it sit for like 30mins and then suck it out with a shop vac. Works amazing.
On your prop shaft zincs you should have placed them further up the prop shafts. Where they are now they are too close to the cutlass bearings. Water keeps the bearings cool.
Started watching your boat restoration which looked excellent but absolutely ruined by Relentless loud boring and frankly pointless loop music when will people realise less is more musical editing is a fine art and can make or break a good series having said that I wish you the very best of luck and safe sailing
More episodes or an update please you can’t just leave it like this. Really enjoyed everything you have done it would be a shame to just stop now..! 👍👍🙏🇬🇧
Boat has really come along nicely it’s a credit to all the hard work you have both done. Even sponsors have started offering you free products & support.👍 please make some more episodes. Thank you 👍👍🙏🇬🇧
1:46 again, I know I'm late to the party and this has already been addressed I'm sure, but do you see that blue smoke? That's oil being burnt. Probably should have taken apart the motor and diesel soaked her, still watching through the series
First video I've ever seen from you guys, I look forward to checking out the projects you've done on it! She looks excellent, and if she runs that's a fantastic deal, I can almost guarantee you're going to need to do a lot of wood replacement and I would recommend replacing it with fiberglass and foam board like a starboard, or a liquid transom like material depending on where you're doing whood replacements I look forward to seeing more! Belated congratulations!
One of the reason why fire watch is so important on vessels in port….Obviously recreational boats don’t have the same manpower or resources but the door is a big wake up call. This is more than a year ago. Adding in fire / smoke detection would be something to think about. Adding remote monitoring would be a big one for me…. Subscribed guys….Anyone who doesn’t realize the amount of work to keep a boat going or bringing it back….Should see this. You guys are really putting in the sweat equity.
