2023-1209 so glad to have seen how you put the cover on from inside & underneath. I was stuck & intimidated until I saw your success. Thanks from Zone 9😉🥰
I am a new subscriber and since my first garden for 25 years are succulents, making my own soil mix is a blessing. I have been repotting my whole collection. Thank you
PLEASE: I bought a little aloe plant that barely fit in my hand. I watered and cared for it and it continued to grow n grow n grow way outside its teeny tiny cup. It looked like Medusa's head when i finally was able to repot it into 8 other pots. Now they are doing the same thing and I want to salvage the upside growing outshoots but not sure how to fix these so they are pretty, healthy, and sellable. TIPS?
I have a large aloe Vera growing in me back yard often with lots of pups. I enjoy harvesting the pups and replanting them in pots for gifting to friends. My problem is in my clumsiness removing the pups, many come up with the roots broken off. Can you do a video showing how you can root these pups so I can repot them. I just thrown dozens like these away in the past. Thank you.
I have been thinking I need to get back into making videos! I’ll make note of this! I would imagine adding some rooting hormone and putting in some cactus soil would do the trick.
We ordered a 300$ hoop green house. The ribs were spaced to far apart on their frame so it collected water and caved in on itself. Broke all the ribs and the company don't do replacements
I still am shocked this video is still reaching people! I’m very humbled and glad it’s still helping people out! I’ve thought I need to start making videos again.
I just found your channel. What a keeper it is. Thumbs up to his speaking of the Word. My husband and I are just getting started...well discussing it so far...of getting a garden going. I definitely am going to invest in some grow bags and that you talked about in another video. I have plenty of seeds already. We moved into my late father in laws house and there is a section of the flower bed with tons of Aloe Vera...It has over run a big portion of space, I'm going to do the best I can to separate them and then give away a lot to my neighbors. I may pot them and set some out with a free sign...That might work well :o)
repotting stressses me out sooo much!! i have a huge cebu and i need to water it almost every 5 days. its turning yellow and I know its needed to be repotted for months... but life. so i am here on my day off watching "how to" videos on this. lol thank you for this simple informational video. Happy Monday from Oregon
I'm thinking of putting them in the ground so they dont dry out as easily, keeping just a few inches above the ground (my soil is terrible for the most part)
Xcellent review! I started with Walmart's Blue" shopping bags and they made it thru 2 seasons @ 50 cents each at that time, combined with plastic Walmart Kiddie Pools for wicking. Totally surprised with my 1st-time results. Plants: pickling cucumbers, peppers(various), tomatoes, and more! Just a note: "grow bags" provide "air pruning" (being porous, etc.), the plastic trash bags do not have this property due to the simple fact they are NOT porous. I'm a 'young gardener' (79 approx 80)and also a 'renter', but at least now with a backyard (fortunately) with 2-4' x4' inground baby gardens off the edge of a tiny patio, and a BIG backyard and I still love 'grow bags'. My neighbor, who is a cattle rancher, gave me several 'cattle mineral tubs' (approx. 40-gallon size to try basically the same 'wicking' principal (from the bottom up) and I got really silly with the idea of finally having a monster garden without tearing up my landlord's backyard. Thie gentleman (Leon Sloan) ru-vid.comwickingtubs...is my new GURU! May not be your cup of tea or mulch, but lots of great info. I thank you for upping the use of "grow bags for renters"...sounds like a RU-vid show TYOU could do... Best wishes, Doc
