Any improvement at Manchester Airport is to be welcomed. Hopefully this will spread to include T1 (whatever happens to it after it's planned closure) & T3 , which are currently dreadful. That will then only leave the staff that need sorting out. Do they ask for rudeness as a key skill when searching for employees?
Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 are in a right state, its a depressing site to see. Imagine you have just come from Dubai International Airport and land in Manchester Airport Terminal 1, what a shock to the system lol.
Why do you have to take a flight of stairs down to board the aircraft and not a ramp, no fun carrying luggage down the staircase as you are not allowed to use the tiny lift.Most world class airports have ramps, easier and less maintenance I imagine and more importantly a better customer experience! Feels like the whole thing is done on the cheap, half the ceiling lights in the new pier are never turned on for some reason also!
