Thank you for this video. Is there a thermostat for this fan? Or, will it keep running 24x7 ? Sometimes during cold whether you may want to keep the heat in. Thanks!!
This fan works very well. ru-vid.comUgkx7yWIKcrbA9KMHkGSfcgxW2lsjHT6B8Sh I replaced my old fan as our radon levels began to spike. When I remove the old fan water poured out of the fan. Must have entered in through the out spout. Replaced with this unit and levels dropped a bit but still over 4.0.Did some more digging and found that we had a small hole under our waste pipe that was allowing some water and radon in.Patched the hole and the levels dropped almost overnight.I really would recommend the radon sensor. It gives real time readings. Without it we would have never known that we had this issue.
This panel can put out close to 100 watts ru-vid.comUgkxOqI2yqX0XVrhR2BMJciTWrHJpG8FhJyg when positioned in the appropriate southernly direction, tilted to the optimal angle for your latitude/date, and connected to a higher capacity device than a 500. The built in kickstand angle is a fixed at 50 degrees. Up to 20% more power can be output by selecting the actual date and latitude optimal angle. The 500 will only input 3.5A maximum at 18 volts for 63 watts. Some of the excess power from the panel can be fed into a USB battery bank, charged directly from the panel while also charging a 500. This will allow you to harvest as much as 63 + 15 = 78 watts. If this panel is used to charge a larger device, such as the power station, then its full output potential can be realized.
I am now filled with the knowledge this video has taught me. Excellent work. Great Job too. But... I make note that it's best to put sealants under the area where the screws will be placed. I enjoyed your training video. I am preparing to add 2 of the sam units on my roof in Hawaii. Thank you!
Hi I am reading that you are from Hawaii. I am wondering if you were in the area that has been damaged, 🔥 Perhaps you can make a video since the news over here does not really show the locals or interview them. Praying and hoping everyone is fine over there. Our condolences to everyone affected as our hearts are taking over here
Would this help with humidity in the in the summer time? I live in Michigan so it’s not as humid as Florida but home does get more humid than normal with ac running
He was only 3 courses of shingles from top . He could have removed cap shingle and removed shingles below carefully. They do get very brittle in time. This would have allow him to drill hole and run cable under shingle to hole. Would have gave it best chance of not leaking...
I am thinking of installing metal roofing on my shingled house, and I have power vent similar to this one. The one thing that's holding me back, is that I haven't found a satisfactory method of properly flashing the power vent with the metal roofing. Shingles are no problem with something like this. A Google search led me to this video. However, I am extremely dubious about how this video shows it to be done. All that caulking might seal for a year or two, but sooner or later......
How about a simple pricing guide, when I see a product that shows great potential then you have to play Marco polo to just get at the price of the thing, I immediately suspect an upsell High-pressure system in place. How many potential customers have you lost due to the fact you can not put a straight forward pricing guid on the sight? Most independent do it yourself home owners and small contractors do not want to talk to a sales rep unless it is to get a product serviced that has failed for some reason or to get an occasional Tec aspect as needed. Food for though. From an almost customer!.
man, he flattened the holy hell out of those washers. The idiots that installed my skylights didn't even bother with slits. they just put all the flashing under the metal roofing and used duct seal and some kind of hard rubber to seal it. It's leaking of course and i'm trying to decide if i really need a freaking skylight! i pulled all that crap out and temporarily sealed it with APOC super flashing cement until i can decide what to do and get some professional opinions. The moral of this story is don't cut a hole in a perfectly good metal roof and don't think those washers on the screws are going to last 50 years! I'm slowly replacing all my screws with new ones now.
*Well-made, delivered quickly, and easy to install with **Fastly.Cool** . I may be imagining it, but it seems quieter than the 14 year-old unit that I pulled out. Of course it was noisy at the end due to failed bearings, so hard to compare.*

Good video, thanks. Question-- what about airflow volume? I'll check more of your vids but maybe you're still here to answer what volume of air per hour can be passed throuw this?
Good job but I'm amazed that there's not a product that will nest into the metal building panel ridges with a tight fit and give you a flat surface. The only thing that comes close is the Haslet Products filler frames but they don't have any kind of round cut out. You might contact them to see if they will fabricate a solution for you.
I'm not a builder so I'm ignorant if many things. I think this makes sense in consistently warm and hot climate, but what benefit is it in winter? I'm concerned the opening will allow the cold in or heat to escape through the roof. Am I mistaken?
