professor, what do i do when my opponent torreandos me and goes to my right side. i have a lasso using my left leg wrapped around my opponent's right arm, but he is sprawled out. i try to sweep him to my left side, but the weight distribution is too heavy. i try to bring my right knee inside, but he'll use his free hand to block my knee from coming in. eventually he hugs my head and passes to side control. Can you help me with this situation? thank you, professor.
I'm about 4 months into my Jiu-Jitsu journey. Being 44 years old makes me hesitant to advance with offense. This video has helped me improve my defensive approach as well as transition my defense into offense. Thank you! OSS 🤙🏾
What if the man on the bottom attack with the guilotine? He does not even need another hand to lock it when having the gi. If he extends fast with the whole body the man on the top will either tap or let go of the trapped hand.
Thanks so much! Amazing instructions and details! I have had a great deal of difficulty trying to pass the knee shield. Looking forward to trying to add this to my game.
Never thought about this option. Moreover, I've been trying to set up a choi bar a few times and my opponents tap early from reverse arm bar.. great instruction!
Great video! I’ve been working on that “Lasso John Wayne” sweep and, like you said, I always feel like I’m taking a risk by shooting my leg through and letting them get chest to chest. What do you do if you get stuck there? 🙏
