What most people don't realize is that those with disorders have exactly the same emotions to work with as "normal" people. The difference is that they are on the far end of the spectrum. It's not as though they have a light bulb on their forehead that lights up when they go off the tracks.
This experiment has been proven to be very faked, zimbardo pushed the guards to act, they would have been passive otherwise. Read the chapter about Stanford in the book ‘HumanKind’ - I’m not being skeptic it’s literally admitted by Zimbardo the creator of the experiment and the participants. It’s just been misunderstood because media and attention is exciting to think people are innately evil, but put normal people in the same experiment and it just ends up passive. Just had to say this, because all the comments here even recent seem to think it is all legit
Psychological warfare tactics.... if you pay attention it was a psychologist that created this, did they use a stand in did they lie about his death... only those involved will ever know. If you continued to pay attention as these years have gone by there is always some supposed mass mendela effects every single time a new generation is in the most impressionable time calling older people crazy and trolling that entire generation into the lie it created or the information it omitted. Psychology is just as diabolical as religion extremely high on the narcism scale and untrustworthy in an absolute way. They are literal profiteers of mind games and it is professions like this that have caused chaos anarchy and ignorance of the truth just like religion.... a means to subdue and control the masses to weaken the mind and poison the body. Absolute psychological warfare these putrid beings get to profit off of it and no one should ever trust them.
There seems to be more to unpack about the DSM5 definition. 1st, what is meant by "inner experience"? For myself, I can only assume it means my interpretation or my perception of the "outside world". Which then begs the question, at what point does the outer and inner world interface? Pattern? To just exactly which outer stimulus or stimuli? Or is this so called pattern a neurological glitch randomly attaching itself to any "outer experience"? What about the individuals culture? Are we talking about that person's own individual culture that fundamentally and spontaneously occurs within oneself naturally through global interaction? Or are we talking about the culture of one's own family, neighborhood, town, country or world? I suppose the big bugaboo is DEVIATION. Ah yes....the deviant. Garbage in, garbage out quote the computer scientists.
It's funny, I showed my daughter a video on the Marshmellow Test when she was 6 years old. It didn't mention any possible errors. But all the same, she just took it as true and applied it. Now, she's top of her class, works to make and save her own money, while making time for friends and computer. She just accepted it as true and integrated patience and hard work in her value system.
Just took the personality test- ESFP, Entertainer. Total nonsense. I did not answer a single question to support that result. Consideration for others does not mean entertaining them. Sheesh!
So as a kid I used be pretty naive and trust everything and everyone, as is... Growing up i got aware of this, and probably as a defence mechanism I started to analyze everything objectively, even question my own "gut" or decision making. So this video is so relatable as I keep thinking about all this, well till the 12th. So am I biased bias ... lol scary

I got a personality disorder diagnosis, i spoke to the doc for 2 hours and answered about 500 questions on 3 different questionnaires to get a diagnosis. You can't and shouldn't want to self diagnose.
Whenever the others open their mouth, i kind of imagine the whole their life, who they are, how they think etc..... and i'm losing interest with them, and i don't ask them anything anymore. Very less people makes me interested.
