Seattle gal starving landfills one garment at a time. Full-time women's fashion reseller on Poshmark, Mercari, Ebay, Tradesy and Depop. I put out monthly "What Sold" videos as well as BOLO hauls, thrift with me videos, and more.
Yea but the, most fck! Up sht! About crossroads is the workers, 🤦🏽 they pick up sht! according to wtv weird fashion they chasing, like they don’t respect, the store rules 😑 like they don’t even fallow the current fashion, like they just fallow their own weird ass fashion and style 🤦🏽, I wish this store would put their workers on check/: the workers always buy what they freaking like😑 not the styles the store I’m buying, according to the current season/:
I think you pronounce "Moschino" as "Mos-kee-no" Love: JC boots, Racil white ruffle tank, Whit bird dress, Christy Dawn dress, Peruvian Collection cardigan, Sir sleeveless blazer, Mcguire white dress, Le Maison red ruffle dress, floral silk maxi dress, Yumi Kim black and white floral print dress, Brother mules, Bally purse Cool that you live in Seattle; I live in Spokane! I want to make a road trip to Seattle to check out Crossroads Trading; I have only checked out a Buffalo Exchange over there. I don't resell myself; I just love fashion and am always on the hunt for unique items at a decent price!
Ive been watching your videos for a week now. I’m a part time reseller in the PNW. u looked familiar and once you mention you worked at the buy sell trade store in Seattle it all made sense to me. I’ve definitely sold clothes to you in Seattle :)
I loved that you asked if we like this type of video. I really loved this. It inspires me to drive a bit further and do some LA thrifting. One note: I kind of cringed every time you said, "This probably retailed for...$.." If you have the chance to do the research; then I would love to hear what you learned, but we all know how it goes with the guess-work in this business. I would love to hear more about what has actually sold or what true comps you've found. I find that sort of information invaluable. I'll keep watching. Thank you!!
Helpful hints: Gingham is two-color simple check common example red and white or black and white. The larger pattern you referenced is plaid where the fibers are woven in a variegated way as to cause several shades of the colors. Velvet is a woven fabric without stretch and is fairly heavy. Rarely used in current fashion. Velour is a knitted fabric that has a bit of stretch. 😊
Cool video & loved all the fun editing. Your mom is a total trooper & I love her brand knowledge lol. The haul portion was a little rough to watch. Out of focus a lot and over exposure when the camera was trying to refocus. Also a little too long for my short attention span but overall still an awesome video!
Love your videos! Thank you for sharing all your knowledge with us! I'm learning so much! Love how you describe the style of dresses and skirts. I'm a t-shirt & jeans gal so all the info your sharing is appreciated. Miss your videos! Hope all is well!
I absolutely LOVE your style! I'm in my second month selling on Posh and you are such an inspiration to me! Keep up the wonderful, informative and fun videos!
Thank you, Faith!!! PS- just watched your most recent video about finally leaving your job to resell full-time and it really resonated with me- It's a wild ride but is so worth it! Congrats!!!!! <3<3<3
Ok your my new fav RU-vid reseller. I’ve been reselling for many years but always learning new brands... your videos are super informative and enjoyable. Love the chill music and vibes.
I argee! They only paid me $4.43 for my Paige jeans, All Saints jeans and All Saints denim shorts! Can you believe that? I just realized that when I'm back home🙄
That Farm Rio jumpsuit is EVERYTHING I am obsessed!!! I waited a few days before watching this to make sure I was waiting for the *perf* moment to savor this vid and it was so worth it. Ty for taking us thrifting vicariously through you! Satisfying beyond words to watch you do this with your mom as I wait to get vaxxed to travel and see my folks again!!
Isn't it!? It's so fun. That's so sweet of you! It was such a treat to travel and do this after the past year. Yay to resuming somewhat normal life! Thanks for watching <3
Just a little FYI: you are not allowed to look at the new racks coming on the floor here in LA due to covid protocols. You have to wait until the items are put out on to the floor. That is unless it is a boutique rack which it looks like you were at the Beverly Blvd location and they have one on the left side when you come in.
Ooohhh, that's really good to know! Goodwill protocol is a bit different here in WA! I think this was the boutique rack which is why I was able to look through it.
You are so good at making RU-vid videos! Wow, I’m in awe! So first off, your mom is amazing and I’m so impressed with her brand knowledge. Second, I had no idea about The Way We Wore. I’ll have to check it out the next time I’m in LA. I have so much footage from my LA trip. It’s going to be a huge time commitment putting it together so I’ve been putting it off. Seeing your video is motivating me to work on it though. It brought back so many good memories 😊
Love this video. Such great content. I am going to be in L.A. next week and was going to look for sourcing stops and came across this video. This was so helpful. Thank you.
