Sourcing online at NR.com is another option! Look for the best value clearance items and look for the (last one left!) items (those are typically returns). Clear the rack is happening this weekend-labor day. Hope that helps and you find some killer deals!

So many beautiful dresses & top! That Ulla Johnson romper especially, ugh so pretty. It almost looks like its using an African print. Very interesting. I need to keep my eyes out for some these brands. I have a hard time with retail arbitrage, always seem to spend too much. Plus I find I don't like being locked into a higher selling price due to my cost of goods being high. I like the freedom to drop my prices if need be. But! I'm very happy that people like you are talented at retail arbitrage and can make a good living from it! Definitely makes for a fun video to watch :)

Thanks for watching! I just sold that Ulla piece today, yahoo! RA is really time consuming and can tricky, but if you put in the time to look through the whole store to look for those deep discounted returns and check comps, it can really pay off. Still trying to use it minimally and use it as a sourcing supplementation and not my whole stream of sourcing. Thrift stores 4ever

Girl! Thanks so much. Love your positivity, it's radiant! These were from MULTIPLEEEE trips to several NR's, lol. I typically source from B/S/T stores and the price points were very similar at NR, so I didn't have too hard of a time with the prices. I tend to only buy items that I know I can make at least a 50% profit margin on. I've been sending stuff to Thredup for a few months and have had some amazing luck on there (I post all my most successful sales on my IG stories @sharedthreads_ ). Definitely ran through a few months of my sourcing budget- but I'm doing this in the event of another Covid shut-down, so I'm trying to be prepared! I did design the logo based off the mural on my office wall, thank you Photoshop! Thanks for all the support, love your videos too :)

Another wonderful video, thank you! I have a question that is probably embarrassingly basic, but here we are: how do you find out about new hot brands you'd never heard of before? Like, I occasionally get lucky and find out about them from RU-vid channels like yours, but I'm pretty far down the food chain... Is there like a secret list somewhere? 😂

Thanks so much for watching! I have a few years of retail experience @ Anthropologie and crossroads trading- so I now have an eye and memory for brands. Most of it is learning what a quality garment feels and looks like, and researching anything you come across in the thrift store that you think might be a gem. Also, keeping on top of the current trends and designers on fashion websites is a great resource (net-a-porter, modesens, revolve, modaoperandi, nordstrom, etc!) Hope that helps :)

XD I was shopping during the 50% off dress sales and also got a lot of good pieces. I really appreciate the fact that you are sharing cost and your nordstrom racks has so many good pieces!!!! Would love to see a follow up from thredup/your sales a month or two from now to see which one are sold. Also, keep hearing you mention Thredup but I saw that they are stopping people from request label/sending to them currently. Did you use an old label? I keep hearing youtuber saying sending to Thredup and noone addresses the fact that they stop providing label due to too many people sending items in

So many good pieces!!! I know Thredup has a limit cap on how many kits you can actively have (I think it's 50). I know the "print your own label" option is down in order to curb the amount of kits going in (they're overwhelmed with processing). I do the "mail in kit" option and haven't had an issue! I also choose to do $16 expedited processing and drop off at the Fedex location- so my items are usually live and processed a week from shipping out! I'm already seeing a few sales from the NR retail arbitrage- so I'll be doing followup video in a few months! Thanks for watching :)
