I cant help but feel like ive missed a step but i swear i followed this tutorial precisely. But i am not able to resolve my domain, i have received that email from cloudflare advising me of the dns change, do i not need to create a dns record in cloudflare for the damain?
Hello, do you have a way for an automation to do something if is not getting an answer. I try to send a message when my door is open and AC is on to turn off the ac or to skip it for 5 min, but if i don't answer to close it in "x" minute. thank you for response
BTW Annke is made by Hikvision it's a stripped down version of their products. Basically rebranded Hikvision which explains why they work with their plugin.
Did you add a voltage divider or logic level converter between the ESP and the Victron device? Or was it measuring 3v3 between Tx & Ground on your solar charger?
Do you have any alert videos on using the Facebook Messenger integration? I send my wife an alert when I'm leaving work to her phone but often she would rather get it in Facebook messenger.
I think FB Messenger is not having inline keyboard option so you can't have buttons. Other than that you can add FB as a notify service and use it with the Home Assistant Alerts the same way as I'm describing in the video
I just got through setting Assist to work from my Android tablet that I use with HA companion, usually split screen with Kindle or YT... Seems to work well, once I create aliases for my entities... Did you use the HotWordPluggin and Snowboy to generate your WakeWord, with Tasker or Automatic? Or, is there another better or simpler way?
Been using Reolink cams i already have as a listening device, and some cheap-o cameras then using the Amazon Echo devices as the media speakers and outputs. Turn the mics off on the Echo devices. They have been working fairly good after fixing a few bugs and such. The cameras like to turn the mic off but a quick ITTT took care of all that.
needs a lot of adjustments for these things to work out of the box outdoors. is there an out of the box solution for outside to work together with raspberry pi and can "see" through fiberglass 1cm thick ?
THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! I searched for days on RU-vid to find out how to use Python to flash esp32 boards. I'm brand new to Home Assistant and I only have the core edition, this means I cannot add esphome to the sidebar. Your Python method have saved me, I'm so happy and again, Thank you 😊
Great demonstration. I didn’t understand how you setup sending voice commands. In my Home Assistant network I use a Lenovo clock (hey Google) for voice commands. Will it work for that?
thanks :) I'm using an esp32-s3-box-3 device that is flashed with esphome for the voice, so it is a custom voice setup and this will not work on the lenovo clock for voice, but you can use the text version and the image recognition service
@@KPeyanski not even if I’m using Nabu Casa / Home Assistant Cloud to enabling sending voice commands via Google Assistant I won’t be able to use that LLM for voice commands?
Thanks Kiril, this really helped me. There is a problem with the code though now, as there have been breaking changes. The part that says: ota: password: "3e17e1c064adcb643234d5a4xxxxxxxx" should now say: ota: - platform: esphome password: "3e17e1c064adcb643234d5a4xxxxxxxx"
Hi, could you please explain how you get IP code for configuration.yamal http: use_x_forwarded_for: true trusted_proxies: - 172.30.33.0/24 Thanks on adwance
I am honestly shocked that Rabbit with their R1 did not make it Home Assistant enabled from day one. Bad mistake along with so much of their other choices for that thing.
Thanks for the informative tutorial. I have set Ollama server on a separate server, and it the local LLM is working well through the open web-UI, and I setup the Olama integration on home assistant, and I setup a home assistant assist to use Ollama. But unfortunately whenever I ask a qesution, I am not getting any response. What am I missing?
dBm is Decibel-milliwatts. There is not a decibel/meter unit that I'm aware of. I'm not an apple fan, but I am a fan of Home Assistant and people learning new ways to use it and new ways to integrate things.
