CK3 challage: custom nation, Absurdistan, every time an event happens and you can make a desicion you HAVE to go for the worst one possible. (Be even better if you did this whilst playing in the Balkans)
Playing as the "Guanches" which is what the aboriginal people of the canaries were called. As some1 that lived in the canaries for 15 years thos is super cool 😎
When u press new game in the top left of the screen there’s an option to pick ruler, from there go to Ireland and you can select which ruler to start game with
So, I know this video was published 2yrs ago, but I've been rewatching your CK3 videos while I multitask projects. One piece of advice I would throw out there is to use your courtiers for advantageous traits. In many of your videos, you have these instances of running after enemy armies for extended periods. During the course of playing, make sure you always have an organizer on hand you can put in command of your army to chase the opposition down. Simply pause 1 day before the battle (you can see this by hovering over the little upcoming battle icon) and switch your commander to the one you actually want in charge to fight the actual battle. The same goes for keeping an engineer handy for sieging and logisticians for those long drawn-out wars that will have you parking armies for resupply. Somewhere around every 3-5 years or so I like to do a check where I marry courtiers off if needed to ensure I always have certain traits. Sometimes there are no candidates available, but that's usually only in the early game unless you're playing in a particularly remote location. This same strategy works for non-military traits too, such as gardener, wise man, architect, etc. This helps so you have good people for those court positions. For example, a person with high learning and the patient trait will make for a great Court Tutor. There are many, many, combinations of traits that boost a character's competency for a certain position or for certain uses in battles.
So I got this game for free on PSN I really like it, I got curious about the pc version so I bought he total during the summer sale on steam. The PV version feels so much easier, I think it’s because the menus are so much more stream lined and control of the army really doesn’t lag there are a few other things. Anyway so I started off strong and I’ve conquered most nearly all of Ireland and Was about to unit all of England and create Britannia and suddenly boom Holley war against me haha. I panicked paused the game, the enemy I was fighting was suddenly my alley in this war, his troops were back up to 5k, my once 8k army had not recovered I’m sitting just looking at the paused world, that’s when it hit me I had been saving gold to start upgrading my buildings, I wasted all of it buying mercenaries to bolster my forces. Anytime the invaders started circling I followed the strongest force to attack them a soon as they landed. Eventually I repelled them, and then turned on my allies with my bolstered forces after the holey war came to a close. Cool things happened on the console version too, but I just like the pc version way more… plus one day I’ll check out mods lol.
Have you tried this challenge with Magadha? Paliputra starts with a special university, Bengali Culture has Agrarian from day 1, and it has Farmlands, so even more development potential than floodplains.
I've been watching this video on repeat trying to learn so I can play the AGoT conversion and play tall as the Thenn, beyond the wall. They have mountain and steppe terrain start out with an already reformed religion that worships their head of faith as a "god-king" and a culture that focuses more on learning (compared to the savages around them that focus on martial).
Wtf how is he not getting holy war by the Pope back to back, it don't make sense at all.Not only that but after taking Latium you just chilled there for 3 whole years with no holy wars waging against you? something is really wrong here.
Why does Italy always end up with that county in Flanders? Anyways nice job with the end of an era achievement. You should do a run through with Count Eudes of Anjou and become King of France
1:20 "fix the organization of ur realm" killed me. There's is no organization whatsoever lol. Last time i played Robertine i was holding 10-15 duchy titles and i had all the duchy capitals with knight effectiveness so i had over 1000% effectiveness with 40-50 knights. 200+ monthly and all my 100+ vassals (all counts 0 dukes) were at 100 opinion. I was stacking opinion modifiers like musical theory, long reign bonus, poet etc. Actual realistic French kingdom. The king is an asshole but the food and music is real nice and the poems slap so no one rebels.
