Today I am playing through a Crusader Kings 3 disaster save sent in from Gianluca. He was trying to play as Tall Kingdom of Israel when the largest empire in the game declared a crusade against him... My goal is simple, go back in time and prevent this Jihad from ever happening. Will I be able to do it? You'll have to watch to find out 👀

The swear fealty was my favourite part of the video. It's a move that's unique to CK3 and it really shows how being a vassal can be superior to being independent.

love watch your videos, i as a new player in the ck world find so much fun seeing you correct these mess games, they do looks like a lot of what i do in mine rulers as well. This is similar to what i loved to watch in Biffa's channel where he fix the big troubled cities in the Cities Skylines, entertaning, good knowledge and fun all at the same time, and love the memes here, always laugh high with the AoE2 allert sound, it's so nice to understand the references.

I played a tall game in the duchy of VALOIS. All those farmlands plus the unique build and just the sheer amount of holdable domain makes it the IDEAL duchy, was raising an ENORMOUS army of valets and Vikings (hybridization)

I can't say playing tall is something I ever end up doing in a playthrough. I don't know how people do it, it's so boring and I play on the slowest speed lol. When you swear fealty. Go for low obligations. Then modify vassal contract, increase levy or tax and add religious protection. Much better contract this way :)

House Guards are free and get the same buffs everyone else gets but it baffles me that they cap at 5. They’re irrelevant by the third age’s army tech since your other armies literally more than double the numbers of the House Guard. Hell unless you’re somehow starving for cash despite having a full Dynasty Legacy there are several units you should take over House Guards in Late Antiquity such as Varangian Veterans, Mubarizin, Cataphracts, or Elephants. There’s probably a mod for that… oh well.
