Really love these videos mate! High intensity is always my way of training and I love pushing myself! Your training is so good and shows the consistency you have! How do you get to reach a good semi pro level?
@@masonangel_1 thanks for the comment mate, appreciate it! I always try to work with a good intensity and aim for clean technique. My advice would be consistent training (working on multiple aspects of the game including distribution), but get plenty of games under your belt to get used to who you are as a GK. Hope this helps mate! 🧤
@@enochhkshendaaa8385 Hi mate, thanks for the suggestion. I’m now in my pre season, but I don’t tend to change much with regards to my nutrition. I try to keep it lean and healthy, around 3000-3200 kcal’s. Making sure I’m getting plenty of protein. Also, making sure I’m adding enough carbs in and around training to help me fuel and recover from my sessions. Regarding supplements, I don’t take many. I’ll have a protein & carbohydrate shake after my goalkeeper sessions, and every day I’ll have an electrolyte drink with Creatine monohydrate mixed in. I’ll look to do a video on these throughout the season with a bit more detail! 🧤
The content posted is incredible great video as always. suggestion : kit bag video for the new season maybe??. keep up the good work James content is quality!!!
Cheers mate. I normally have a week completely off to re-set mentally and physically (I’d still do yoga etc. as I enjoy it). This year I had 4 days off instead of the week as I needed to get back training a little earlier this time
Quality session again, feel like cut backs are some of the most common kinds of saves nowadays with teams trying to work the ball to the byline for low crosses. some great finishing as well
quality session, really interesting how different keepers view and train 1v1s like for you it's much more about getting into a shape but some keepers will try to stay on their feet and try to smother the ball as much as possible like Alisson. Unlucky on the playoffs btw think I saw that yous lost out to south liverpool
Cheers mate, 1 v 1’s are very situational so sometimes you’ll be able to come out and smother, others you’ll have to get into shape and block/spread, and sometimes you’ll have to stand and react - it all depends on how close you are to the ball and how much control the striker has. In this particular drill we are working strictly on getting into those blocking/spread shapes. I think it’s always beneficial to work on all 3 aspects of 1 to 1’s (smothering, blocking/spreading, stand and react)
Thanks mate! There was an issue with the game recordings but fingers crossed it’s been fixed. Should be some more highlights coming within the next few weeks 🤞🏻There are a couple of videos on the channel already in the meantime 👊🏻🧤
Thank you mate! Kaliaaer and One Glove are really good gloves in both wet and dry, both are reasonable prices for the level of performance you get. Hope this helps mate 👊🏻🧤
