Dude this update is so fucking good, I just got off a match were all the bugs bummed rush one area, used there dead to climb to the top of the walls, and proceeded to run amok as they used the dead bodies of their allies as cover. It was insane.
Thanks for this update! I played a bit of STE in the past and found it pretty unstable and performed poorly and overall felt unfinished, but after their recent marketing push I'm encouraged that the game seems to be heading toward a much better state. This type of video seems like just what I need to keep up with the game.
I've been playing on and off since it came out, and the newest update is pretty good. I like how the carcasses of the bugs you kill stay and can become obstacles.
I don't own STE, I really wanted to buy it (as I'm a big fan), but it clearly isn't worth the money at this stage, then Helldivers came and it was over for STE... But, it seems to be heading in the right direction and with HD falling from grace, I might circle back and get it later! Provided it survives long enough :D
It really depends on what they decide for the 1.0 release. For those like me that have it yeah, it's worth playing the update. But for those that don't, waiting to see how it pans out isn't a bad idea.
I payed like $100 for EOD and you can’t even play offline. I feel like Akita is just ripping us all off low key. Spt is better than standard eft for sure.
its because they want more money to be put into the game and less about the player base SPT in my opinion is a far better game because its user friendly less time consuming and gives you the opportunity to experiment with the mechanics of the game EFT on the other hand expects you to know the game right off the hand have good aim, aka what COD is doing now is player retention into the game EOD was the best to get a good start to learn the game unlike SPT which gives you the choice to learn or struggle unlike eft where you struggle to learn and get no where pay more to have a better experience is like saying here you can have god mode for the fair price of $100, its a you have a dayz game and a pubg mind set, in the end of it BSG had their intentions on giving a player base a good game and now all i see is a bunch of AAA studios forcing legit SHIT down our throat`s, im sick of the half ass products of our years and just want a fun and enjoyable game for everyone to enjoy without a skill gap in the way
Starship troopers might not have as high of a player base but it will still do good for 3 obvious reasons #1 its the official game not a tribute. And #2 the biggest reason it will do good is because its getting realesed on xbox which helldivers is not available on so its the only option for xbox. Also #3 it has 16 player coop good for more intense fights with more friends
I Am hesitant , I have ps4 , Should I play Mount & blade 1 or 2? ,since I got no mods It’s gonna be my first time playing , I don’t care about the Online , But something tells me My ps4 won’t handle mount & blade 2 EDIT : I bought warband because apparently Bannerlord isn’t Fit For ps4 especially normal , crashes blue screen etc , I won’t lie , I’m enjoying Warband Because I don’t care about graphics
The difference between Helldivers 2 and Starship Troopers is..... Helldivers 1. They already have had an experience establishing the game and the universe. They knew what worked in the old game, and was successful in porting it into the new game
I get your point but you are forgetting Squad, Post Scriptum, Beyond the Wire. OWI know how to make team oriented games, even if they stumble from time to time.
One thing Starship Trooper's has over Helldivers 2 is that HD2 only goes up to 4 players. But the idea of taking part in a whole team of players cooperatively is much more appealing, than just a small squad. For me at least.
The down side of SPT is we get to play the same game we ALREADY PAID FOR without having to pay BSG more money to do it. If SPT ever goes down.. I'm just done with BSG.
This is great a year after initial post. SPT puts money in the BSG pockets, I hope they support it but they don't exactly have an honorable reputation as of late.
I said the same thing about Tarkov, it keeps the game fresh. Yet the loudest and dumbest voices, one supposedly some "girl" with no job or life, max level, supposedly one of the top 3 players? biggest "contributor testor" or some shit said I'm wrong and that this isn't tarkov blah blah blah, then her simps jumped in said I know nothing and that this isn't Tarkov etc. They killed the game more than anything else.
I never got the impression that Helldivers 2 was solo friendly. The previous CEO kept saying you shouldn't play solo and they even tweaked the spawns to penalise solo (which they reverted).
Obviously you should fight for the Terran Federation. Your commanding officer will say "bless you" when you sneeze. In Super Earth, you get executed because you sneezed in a way the Democracy Officer didn't approve of.
It’s simple these mods are showing these gaming companies that they don’t care about the game they just want your money. The mod save tarkov I’ve play the single tarkov and it save tarkov for real it did. If they want to destroy tarkov and make it for cheaters then I’m out and I will never support battlestate. F them $250 for bullshit please I rather spend $250 on some ass cause I know I’ll be happy when I’m done.
Every single person I tried to get into this game, loved it, but only wanted to play offline co-op so they didn't stay into it. I bought EOD because I wanted all the future DLC, that is the only reason. At first I didn't like getting to skip the safe container or stash upgrade, because it instantly made some in game quests and items useless. Purchasing EOD at this point has given me negative content. I payed extra money, and am getting less of a product as a result. Unlucky I guess. I still think tarkov has potential to be one of the best gaming projects anyone has ever attempted though in lots of ways.

I was unware of SPT until today but now I gotta say their hate of this mod makes more sense now with the Unheard Edition they must have been planning that ultimate fuck up for quite a while
We have achieved something that I no longer thought possible. And it gave us all hope, we are the people and the power lies with the people! But as you say, we won a battle, not the war. We must continue to stick together! For freedom and democracy. Who still uses consoles? Except a child? Console games are actually people who have no idea about gaming Or the industry. And that's my opinion, just saying ;P
For me, Tarkov is a good game (but not perfect for online mode), the big problem is The Cheat and desync problems. I'm from South East Asia literally need VPN and some booster to able play EFT online, i also play another Russian game like World of Tank or War Thunder, Enlisted their did really good in Cheater detect and the latecy is can apceptable. But for the game STILL in develop from 2013, i got no any words for EFT about 2 big problems. Hope the game get better soon.
Both games are great. To be honest, Helldivers is a knockoff of starship trooper. If i really want to play as a mobile infantry and feels like I'm in my favorite movie killing arachnids, then I play STE. Helldivers is a differ atmosphere, especially playing from fps to 3rd person and a different lore. Like I say, both games are great and I'll still play both.
@@ric270 and how long is it gonna take? they say 1.0 is in October but the game is a solid year+ away from being anyway near close to 1.0 its a complete unstable buggy broken mess its gonna suck for so long and may never get finished i regret buying it, each update has been so rough and broken its honestly insulting and takes 3+ months for fixes that dont fix anything but break 6 more things and they dont listen to the community at all, they dont know what they want for the game or what to prioritise, Hive Hunt proved that
People are getting tribal about this and cant appreciate that we have two AA studios that care about the product they are making. I play both of them. I don't knock someone who prefers one over the other.
If you want to keep any community even in this state, you need to keep xp. Coming back to this game after something like Helldivers 2, and having all your work wiped just makes you want to leave. You can keep grinding over and over if you're into that but it's annoying to grind for the same crappy weapons. Early access is for the devs not the players. We fund them by buying the game when it isn't finished. It shouldn't be hard for them to to give an xp credit. Saying for people to just leave and comeback when it releases, is a good way to kill the game before it even launches.
If you don't understand things change, get erased or reset in development, don't buy early access games. It's literally a game in active development. If it needs testing, and you can't do it, that's literally it, leave and comeback later. Early access is for the game, not for you.
We should remain united, we should keep pushing these corporate f@(ks back, we should stop being selfish and support one another as one unit, one goal. We should hold them accountable and if possible replace these companies. Together
This isn't over. Do not relent or forget what happened because this is still Sony. Until everyone can dive again nothing has changed. Until its confirmed that countries that were locked out of purchasing the game can again it's not over. All Sony has done is said things on social media. Talk is cheap, action speak louder. My review will stay negative because of the corporate meeting this may. This was just the opening strike. They fully expected our response and knew all they had to do say sorry. It worked and like clock work people already forgot and are treating it like nothing happened.
Same. I already didn't ever want to give Sony business due to other things WAY in the past, and only discovered their involvement in the game when this popped off. Thankfully I got my refund after even 71 hours but I'm still not going to repurchase the game to support the devs because the devs either don't care or support what their awful CMs and discord mods said and did to their customers. So they can keep my negative review as thanks.
Yea, in my review, I said “Arrowhead has lost a customer today”, and I was serious. When I say I’m out, I am OUT. I don’t fully trust Arrowhead, and I’m not staying around to find out.
You should have used plural 😂. They didn't lost a customer, they lost a hell lot customers. Doesn't matter if i love the game, my PC brothers lost it, I'm going as well
@@TheOnlySillySocks I would imagine Nikita makes decent cash from the cheaters, occasionally doing ban waves. If given enough time between bans cheaters almost always buy new accounts. Considering that the current cheat clients make you delete Valorant as its anti-cheat can detect EFT cheats. Also consider that most of the cheats in circulation today can be defeated by inbuilt windows tools. I can't say for sure but Nikita is deliberately Hamstringing his anti-cheat heck if he simply changed the launcher to allow access to Universal Windows Platform, most cheats would be blocked if not detected.
In several videos celebrating Sony backing off, I expressed my concern about how instantly forgiving Arrowhead is not advisable. I was met with mostly mocking replies. Pretty revealing of how short sighted players can be.
