People blaming immigrants, taxes and climate change is exactly why nothing will ever get resolved and the wrong people staying power. None of those things have anything to do with affordability. Affordability gets resolved when we take money out of politics and greatly reduce lobbying, tax the rich and corporations, break up monopolies and build various kinds of affordable housing the tune of tens of billions of dollars, money we get from you guessed it taxing those who have the most.

Ok I am on canadian tires side on this one,i dont find there was any racial profiling here,many stores have no back pack policy to protect their income and stop stealing,that will raise costs for consumers,if one insists on carrying a backpack,they are well within their rights to ask to check it,nowadays many people with backpacks engage in stealing.No case here,if there was,I would be the first one up in arms.

Just remember when the NDP and Liberals raise tax as their know for, that leaves everybody who isn't employed by the government grasping for scraps. And they'll raise rents, raise prices and strike just to increase whats left. And they'll try and make up that hard earned money we all sent to the government so they can waste it on bloat, inefficiencies, and their benefits and pensions.
The government has allowed massive numbers of foreign students, and excessive amounts of immigrants into Canada!!! Voting for the provincial conservatives will destroy BC!! The NDP have consistently kept rent increases to reasonable levels! The conservatives, like the previous BC liberals, would put rent increases back to 2, or 3% above inflation rates, ie 6 or 7%!!!!
The NDP has turned Vancouver into a zombie crack apocalypse. Then with a little extra help from Trudeau together they have destroyed The Canadian standard of living through filth, crime, drugs & inflation. They have frozen Canadian citizens bank accounts & crushed civil liberties and controlled freedom of speech on the Internet. Canada under Corrupt Liberal NDP government is broken. The NDP and their Liberal enablers and their pronouns can all take a hike.

Their staff have no discipline. Canadian Tire has piss poor service due to lack of training on the staff. Their business model revolves hiring 20 managers all bossing other staff and wasting time. Compared to other places like Walmart, the associates have a bit of dignity so they can actually badmouth at you and kick you out. Worst yet can lead to assault.

Vancouver needs more psychiatrists more pills more needles of antipsychotics and more involuntary treatment for the homeless. A large mental asylum like ones in the 1800's should be built on some large farmland so they can be kept there.
The liberals tanked BC (cristy clarke) (gordon Campbell), took money away from the people, hoarded a vast amount not telling anyone and brought some big time trouble to our province. NDP has been struggling to balance it and all you guys can do is complain and blame. If Conservatives or Liberals get back in you can kiss all the benefits goodbye that were gained and you will really see some poverty and crime. I would ask that you balance between greed, the needs of our own people in Canada and try to put training our own to do the work. Might help if you started to treat our native indians like humans and contributors for once instead of bringing in more immigrants taking over our culture.
The problem is much much bigger than East Indians. They're just most visible. The incompetence, mismanagement, corruption and lack of vision has been going on for decades.
