This is why I wanna join these fine aviators, the experience and knowledge they have is something I've been looking for since joining the dcs community in 2019 and i love the guides if i ever got the chance to join them id do it
This is great. Found this link via a friend who commented I may have a long-lost brother out there in the ether, lol. Coincidentally, I did a few vids of a very similar nature on the Polychop Kiowa Warrior (OH-58D), about a year after you did this, apparently. Several hours of just "geeking out" on switches and dials in the cockpit, in excruciating detail. Search for Kiowa Warrior Detailed Intro if you're interested. Nice work.
what a fantastic Video. Just learning the Cat with my friends and im in the RIO Seat. Awesome Module and a very nice explanation from you. Looking forward to our 1st Phoenix Launch
I enjoyed Bio talking about his job on the A model, of which I was a proud maintainer when I was with VF-142 in the early to mid-80s, but for the love of Mary, what the hell was going on in that hangar? Were they tearing it down and trying to put it back up at the same time? Madre, I had to go back a couple of times to try to hear what the man had to say with all of that infernal banging around going on.
@ 1:31a Fellow TWEAK! Nice! I was VAQ-139 1998-2001 (CVW-14) EA-6B's always loved the Tomcats thanks for the RIO tour ALQ-99 was my specialty - loved Mode 4 checking up on deck nightcheck - and loathed removing aft power supplies AT2 "Tex" Allred

Staying in full afterburner, the F14 will run completely out of fuel in just 8 minutes. Thats 5 gallons per second/33.5 pounds of fuel per second. This is with internal fuel load only. No external fuel tanks.
I learned so much from you and I'm in CSG-8 and I tried joining CVW-11 and I love this airframe there aint no fighter I'd rather fly its just a handful for me but its a BEAST!
Hey dude, I was in VF-41 from 1992-1995, did most of the deployment from March - August 1995. I was in Admin, YN3 Snead. How do you get into using the virtal aircraft?
And also, how much HYD fluid does this thing lose for every start!? twice one engine cranks and again on the strut kneel, seems a bit crazy to lose fluid.
I used to work on the F-15C Eagle many years ago and always wondered what pre-lunch routines other planes had to go through. This is really well done! I have always been a fan of the Tomcat . Thanks for giving us a peek behind the scenes, sir! Aircraft maintainers are an awesome breed of people. Respect from this retired USAF maintainer! 👍👍👍
