Yes I’d have liked to have got on one again. This company has an interesting habit of buying buses, repainting and running them for a bit, before selling them or scrapping.
Nice video, not sure if you've seen them before but our MAN Enviro 300's in Exeter have very nice looking seats ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1mvN2Fo31KU.html. They've got Euro 6 Cummins engines which they all got given in 2019 replacing the original MAN engines, and the Cummins engines are actually the same engine used in Enviro 400's.
They’ve all been sold to Go Ahead group by Dawson Rentals after being sent back off lease. Within Go Ahead they’ll be split up between Carousel Buses, Bluestar and Morebus
4:09 pumping a K230UB doesnt make that sound, on this specific Ecomat series there is a throttle delay that means you can tap without the RPM loss and it doesnt sound like tapping Our OM1xx makes a tapping sound but reality is the driver is driving normally (alison boxed)
Exactly 50 at the moment, which is the most you’ll find anywhere but still a shadow of the 360 delivered. From what I’ve heard the last one will remain into next year but we’ll have to see!
Good to hear it’s been fixed considering it’s 21 years old! Are these BJ03s staying for now or will they go alongside BU53s despite the fact BJ03s are Euro 6 and BU53s (except 4523) are not?
@@EnviroExplorer I assume you only mean the WB ones and not the few AG have as well, yes? And that generally regardless of batch, it’ll probably be WB that’s 1st to go then AG’s Geminis
I mean both, any buses that aren’t Euro 6 will be priority for withdrawal next month once the BX09 E400s have all departed. As to whether AG or WB will lose Geminis first, I’ve no idea unfortunately
@@EnviroExplorer And then there’s the small handful of Tridents at Wolverhampton as well. Might they go before any of the B7TLs or not? Yardley Wood’s Tridents I believe will wait until the electrics arrive within a month or two and then they’ll all go at the same time, possibly even some Scanias and E400s
I so gonna miss this E400 batch when they go (4799-4829) becuase they are leaving the fleet bc their lease expires this month, and will be sold to Go Ahead, split between Go Midlands and Go South.
@@TFWMBUSBOY haha yeah, not many companies do it but transdev is one you'll find as they facelift most of their buses - they've got an 03 plate eclipse with an E2 front!
BV58 MKO has been withdrawn, MLK lives on. haven’t been on it for at least a year not sure what it’s like now but it was a lot like this before wouldn’t say it was shagged unless your talking about the exterior
@@shiresbusveg I’m talking about all of it, interior, exterior, sound and performance. They were all like that before chosen examples got a new engine even 5 years ago, don’t spread misinformation… I know 3914 survives, I’m amazed it does as that thing could not climb Amersham Hill at all unlike our 12 reg which ate Wycombe’s hills for breakfast as usual
As someone fro where this bus started it's life, its so nice to see this performing so well just like it was when it was here. Same goes for BV58 MLK which is kind of local with Aylesbury but this one was always my favourite. Fantastic video 😊
I’m sure a lot of Wycombe’s 12 reg will go back to Tamworth to see off E300s and older Pulsars. I’m not sure where the ones they don’t need will go though. And I hate to say it but 3911 in old money is non standard up there, so I can see that going after July Also, it’s now 16 years old. All but 2 of the BV58s/BK58s down south have already been withdrawn. Time really has betrayed us - I remember when the BK58s were new on the Line Three-Hundred!
