Welcome to my channel! My name is Sera and I love bikes! Join me on some rides around the UK and further afield. I also build my own custom bikes and undertake a multitude of projects!

I've been biking for just over 10 years and I will ride anything with 2 wheels!

My main bike is a 1998 Honda Blackbird, but I also ride a Buell XB9R custom.

For any collab/business inquiries, you can reach out on the email below!

Over the years I've owned a lot of bikes, in some kind of order:
1999 Honda Rebel 125cc
1982 Yamaha XJ550 Maxim
1998 Suzuki SV650
2002 Honda VTR Firestorm - 1 of 2!
1998 Honda Blackbird - 1 of 3!
2001 Honda VTR Firestorm - 2 of 2!
1994 Yamaha VMAX
1998 Harley 1200 Sportster
2013 Harley (Ultima 127") custom chop - built myself
1994 Kawasaki ZZR1100
1997 Honda Blackbird - 2 of 3!
1998 Suzuki TL1000S
2020 Buell XB9R based custom - built myself
1998 Honda Blackbird - 3 of 3!

So, sit back, relax and enjoy the ride!

Hello. Really nice job done on this beautiful bike. I have a 996 from 2000 and I would like to repaint my rims (same 5 grey spokes as yours). Problem is that I struggle to find the manufacturer color code (so many different grey shade). Do you know the code color or did a professionnal painter made the color ?

All inspiring, I've got a Harley Street Glide Special & weight 850 lb unladen, always worried about getting myself stuck especially on slight gradient & having to reverse ◀️ it. Also a lot of the weight is in the fairing on this type of bike which can easily throw off the balance

My blackbird has just 50000 km never changed the spark plug but after this step by step detailed video the change wouldn't be so intimidating , thanks a lot 😊

Super helpful video, thanks so much! Very detailed explanation, step by step. Just done my air filter and plugs today following your directions. I used a hybrid methodology, raising the tank at the front and supporting this on straps from the garage roof, rather than disconnecting all the fuel lines and fully removing the tank, that I saw in another RU-vid video. Also used the hosepipe tip from Haynes manual to pull out the loosened spark plugs and lower and hand tighten the new ones. Took me way longer than 1 1/2 hours, but then I’m an old git these days. This and oil & filter now done, MOT this week, hey I might even get to ride my ‘97 Blackbird again before the Summer’s over. Keep up the good work! 🏍️🛠️

Thanks for this video, I was scratching my head thinking how do I get these plugs out! I have the injection model sadly so have the fuel rail and different air box but the rest is the same. So 16mm is it 😎😁

What a fine bike you have. Yes, I totally agree with you on the double bubble screen as it was a big improvement to riding mine. I did not get around to fitted grips to mine. I ride a CBF 1000 now but I miss my Blackbird . If I get another one, as well as a double bubble screen, I would fit heated grips this time and maybe, bar risers for a little less lean over the tank. It was fine without risers though to be honest but I am 6' 1'' tall. Great video. Thanks.

Great Video. I had a 'P' reg carb'ed one for 9 years and it was a Brilliant bike. I ride a CBF1000 now. Its more manageable perhaps. I do really miss the Blackbird. Together with the VFR 800, these are, for me and I know it is a subjective choice, Honda's best bikes.

I’ve been gifted one by family. I used to own a Hornet CB600, rode bikes of different size and power for about 5 years then haven’t really rode for the last 15 years. I noticed you said that you had one quite early on. I am aware of the power just wondered what your thoughts on it are. I know Honda’s are so easy to ride generally. Any advice would be appreciated.

I am just about to buy a Blackbird. I had a Hayabusa before. How hows this compare? I went with the Blackbird this time because you get a lot of bike for the money. It looks to be able to do anything well. good power delivery and comfortable whilst still having great handling. Also, where did you sourse your aftermarket seat?

Enjoy the ride. For me that's not carrying excess and spoiling the handling of my bike unnecessarily. For you that may mean something different. It's just opinion 😊

ADV trips in hotels........no shit sherlock. very easy to not overpack since you don't need much. my camp gear (tent, sleep gear and kitchen) weigh about 25 lbs. and that includes a camp chair too.

Yes, and agreed. I did say about camping, one of my panniers gets used for my cooking and other bits, and then tent and sleeping bag on top and I ditch the second bag of clothes etc.

Hi Sera, Thanks for a great channel. Just bought an ’06 BBird, thought I’d replace the r/r as a preventative, too. Do you know if the 020AA or any mosfet r/r works with li-ion battery or not? Many thanks.

I’ve owned 2 and has you say they may not be the fastest anymore but they haven’t gone any slower either. If at any point you’d opened the throttle fully you’d find out there fast enough to make you think why would you need any more speed than this. and to ride , they aren’t that far away from a blade. But it all depends how you ride them. I also think the extra weight keeps them planted while under breaking and accelerating. My only criticism is was a bit plasticky. But I did like the gloss black paintwork.a fantastic bike.
