Weekly videos of my experiences traveling to other countries and visuals of each place I travel to in the world to give you a greater insight and information about what place you may be visiting or thinking about visiting in the future!
Enjoy your stay!! You can go to "Hacienda Santa Bárbara" and nearby, specially on a Sunday. Zona T is good to have some drinks and good food. "Parkway" and Chapinero Alto are also nice neighbourhoods, very good restaurants there. I'd recommend going to "Parque de los Novios" and Botanical Garden. Uber is cheap and works very nice with local taxis.
I was there in June and I loved the city. nightlife was great and the many asian restaurants at the Centro surprised me! 🥰 I did not feel any threat and I even took the bus from Guadalajara to Puerto Vallarta during daytime. This is where Im going to be retiring someday!
Hey, i know it's been a while since this video's release, but i was wondering if you had any problems or felt any prejudice coming from the locals in Serbia as a black tourist
@@Zakkious hey, I’ll be making a video on this topic very soon. Yes I did experience prejudice there and I would not return. Maybe for a few days or a week but not for long
Good video man def helpful Do you have the contact for the Facilitator? my fam and I looking to move to Guadalajara next month and need help with 2 part of the Temporary Visa
@@FutureFlyness straight up lol yo man, Imma get right, cause that appt website trippin, Imma just pull up esrly on them thanks for the vids on the process
Deberias visitar Encarnación, si soy sincera hay muchas otras ciudades que estan mejor cuidadas que las calles de Asuncion. Estoy feliz de que hayas probado la unica sopa solida que los paraguayos comen 💖
Unless I missed you mentioning it, I'm told for you to make the most of your visit, especially if you don't know anyone, you need to know how to speak Spanish or Guarani.
everything is in metric in Paraguay I take it? those frozen french fries are from Canada lol ...looks like its about 50% cheaper than Canada maybe a little more.
If you still live in Asunción you should definitely try out an asado/bbq restaurant!!! “Lo De Osvaldo” is a pretty well-known asado restaurant in the city center, and they also serve some clever twists on other national dishes so maybe their version of sopa paraguaya suits your taste better. Churrasquerias also serve good asado but that’s a Brazil-style barbecue so if I wasn’t a native I wouldn’t go to those first. Also if you prefer a walkable city I would definitely recommend going to the city center or neighborhoods like Villamorra, and there is definitely a lot of fun and movement but that is mostly reserved for the Asunción nightlife (which, for the size of our city is very diverse and dynamic)
Great video as always hermano. Question, have you ever been robbed traveling or in NYC? Just curious seeing that you've traveled so much. Not specifically in Colombia, in any country or even in the states.
You killed it, after prob a month or 2 they for sure think that you from another Spanish speaking country Keep polishing everything and you good One thing that use to give me away was my lack of Agreement and Filler Words… I use to say “Si” a lot but then I saying stuff like “eso” Or instead of just pausing (in silence) when I forgot how to say something, I would use “o sea” “Cómo te digo” “cómo me explico”, etc And after I explain something to someone, use “me entiendes” or like in cali they say “oyo (usted version of you heard)” Like “you feel me” “ you heard me” in english Either way man keep it up
@@FutureFlyness is not hot bro , just April and may , actually the winter time until march the Weather is amazing , and after June , the weather is Also amazing, actually on the cities with the Best weather , You can check the average temperature of the year,
Hey did you have to present all those documents again like you did at the consulate? We just got the Mexican Visa but just wondering if we have to present all the documents again in order to get the ID card?
I’m Mexican born raised in Miami and living in Texas the last 8 yrs ! Loved your video and outlook about GDL !! I’m moving in January when my lease is up , most of all my fam is out there in GDL and I haven’t been back since 2009! So I feel like a newbie lol I’m super exited and this was great and informational considering I haven’t been in a while. ( my parents live in GDL half a year ) look forward to seeing more videos. Do you have any videos about working remotely in Mexico with American company? I’m dual citizenship and of course bilingual.
Glad you found the video helpful! That’s great you have family out there since it will make the transition to living there smoother and more enjoyable. I think you’ll really like GDL. I don’t have any videos on that topic right now but I do have some tips and things to talk about regarding working remotely so I’ll make some videos on that topic soon!
If i am a filipino tourist from the Philippines who will visit Brazil for 12 days, and would like to visit or cross the also the border and visit Argentina for 2 days and get back again in Brazil what can you say friend , Thanks you!
Hello, do you already have your citizenship in Paraguay? Are you aware of SMU? SMU is the Mandatory national service of Paraguay. I did some research, and I discovered that it is currently active. If you have your nationality, you are automatically at the service of your country, according to the law of Paraguay. Do you know if they are applying that law? Because that law does exist, it is Mandatory. If they start applying it, then you will be forced to enlist in the army, or pay a penalty fee
Great to see you are enjoying your time here. As you noticed the country is a pretty laid back one where nothing happens too quickly, even more so once you are out of Asuncion. With the buses I travel in from Piribebuy from time to time and apart from the few routes I have learnt I'm looking in bus windows looking for a name of a place that is sort of in the dirrection I'm going
I've been here for 9ver two yrs. People are nice and friendly, which is nice. Now...there is no accessable nature, you gotta pay ,if you want to see any nature. Quality of products are very low,not much variety when it comes to fruits and vegetables. In many cases it is more expensive than in europe with worse quality. Foget bout finding a job(minimum wage is around 15€ a day) Like i said, people are very nice and friendly, weather is very nice and it feels quite safe. Probably will leave sometime next year.
@@duncanwierman I’m not saying you should live cheap, but definitely there are plenty of worst places in the world, specially in relation to food, meat, fruit and veggies, even here in the US
This comment is clearly made by someone who did not know even 1% of the country. I met hundreds of foreigners living in Paraguay, and they all agree that the meat is top-notch, if you at least take a tour to know where to go or not, it's just that the typical foods have a lot of saturated fats. And they complained about the streets in some regions, as well as the bureaucracy for certain documentation, but other than that there were practically no complaints. The few who spoke badly like you do were clearly bitter people.
@@sirlion996 I am not a bitter person. I am a travel writer. I wish I could say lovely things for anyone who wants to go retire there, but I cannot. I found it run down, the food of poor quality, and the weather is miserable. There is not a vibe of "happening" city. Its a very chill country. Some people like to leave cheaply and not much going on.. but when you have Argentina next door, its a much better choice.
@@duncanwiermanIt doesn't matter if you are a writer dedicated to travel. I understand your point that you have become bored, given that you have not seen even 1% of the country, and even if you already have the prejudice that fun is synonymous with constant, very busy activity everywhere. The good thing is that foreigners who have that opinion are a tiny percentage and they do know how to appreciate the good things about the country. For this reason, I am grateful that you have decided not to return and that the people who really want to get to know the country in the first place are more friendly and with the intention of really getting to know the people (like other authentic travelers on this platform who did manage to do so). , and not have such a biased mentality, believing that they know too much about the subject when they only express extreme ignorance for not knowing in its real dimension a country so culturally rich and with friendly people who treat you like a family member, feeding you their exquisite meals like It happens very often in Paraguay.
@@sirlion996 I gave a very fair review of the country. I am sorry that you are upset by it, but people should know its not all roses. I have to laugh that you resort to name calling and put downs because someone does not agree with you.
I will repost this on my Facebook I like to support I have my own channel and I have other things and I don't ask people to like mines or share mines man people going to do what they're going to do out the kindness of thier heart or keep it real or they going to keep it fake*
