Dear viewers, this is all cool and gravy, but doing this reduces the percentage of your headlights by enough to be dangers. It looks great from the outside, but light from your bulb will not travel through the lens like it should. The lense needs to be sanded and buffed and sealed. The end
Thanks for the great video. Even in cramp quarters your video came through perfect I would never even think about doing this on my own until watching your video. Thanks a lot. I’ll be waiting for your next video.
Interestingly enough I have a passenger seat that is permanently slightly twisted. Both sides move as they should but the back is slightly cocked, maybe one side slipped or something or someone tried to fix it but made a mistake
Why didn't you prepare it before you made the video? Mine goes from 0-60 mph in 6 seconds flat. That is NOT slow. That is quick. Plus 22 mpg. It sounds like you don't like it much. How about I take it off your hands for you?
Am I just late to the party? I thought you'd want a short shift kit with a taller handle that is closer to the steering wheel. Less movement and time from both hands on the steering wheel. having a super short handle stock makes me feel like I am reaching down in to the chassis. Odd feeling. So is it just me? I'd do a SSK and something like a Jaffster knob from bimmerworld. Is it to ricer? I get to each his own but isn't it more comfortable to not have to reach down?
This helps quite a bit in preparation for doing this again. I did it before of MY 2003 M5 which looks remarkable like yours. Although I'm sure yours is is much better shape than mine. But I love the platform so much, that while my M5 sits in storage in Boise, I bought another 2003 530i 5 speed, to tour around on the West Coast, specifically the Central Oregon Coastline. And Boy-Howdee, with the rain and the sea salt in everything, I need good seals around the windows. Thanks for the video. Wish you wouldn't have run out of light, but I DID love the audio...quite a lot, as a matter of fact !!
187k miles on my e90 328i with a lot of similar mods but stock springs cuz of bad roads and winters here. I beat it to death and have neglected proper maintenance for years and it runs beautifully despite a few leaks lol. I don’t think there’s a better daily, it handles snow and weather great too. Its a well balanced, engaging, and practical machine made for the people who love to drive
"We've got hundred and eighteen, five hundred thousand miles on this truck" sounds like Biden math lmao ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DiBmfcYaBoI.html
I got black wheels for my s10 because my alloys corroded away and cracked and black is the only color the steel wheels that fit it come in at discount tire. lol.
7 years later: would you still do it? I’m in an fbo n54 at the moment. But it fell into my lap BT happens chance- I’m hunting for an m3 of the same chassis now- I know all common problems for both the platform and the chassis but just curious if you still have the same opinion (if you still have it, and if not why did you part with it?)
Is the beginning of the video how much you used out of a 16oz bottle? deciding whether i want the 32oz or 16oz for a sedan. Seems that most only use about a quarter of a 16oz bottle per layer.
I bought a double din kit and I saw on Amazon a double din with brackets you need a heat gun to reuse your air vents and the dumb nhump. This one has a flat top no hump. Your . Looks great it is $42.50 On Amazon I know they fit because I bought a 10" I monitor & installed it It looked great . But had issue so sent it back. But l thought the clips weren't right. It just fastened different Navigation DDin radio
I have a 2013 and its completely stock. For 4 years it has been nothing but fun and reliable. The turbo in the N20 might not be the loudest whistle but for a daily its beautiful to hear it.
Have very similar unit, carbon roof, comp, manual, 56k miles, white, stock. 2011 2 door, 2nd owner, still love it every time but try to keep it special by not daily-ing it. Owned for about 6 yrs, last I checked it's still worth at least the $35k I paid, probably more. (not to pretend it's an "investment", lol)
Long time Duralast fan--they have treated me better than obligated inc giving me a replacement batt for free just because they didn't have exact replacement once (old chevy, didn't matter). My 2yr Duralast lasted *over 10 yrs* in my old 330ci. 4 yr lasted over 7 yrs.
