The directions says 7.9 quarts and not 8.5 quarts? I went and dumped in 8 quarts. The oil level hit the bottom of the top dot on the dipstick. I didn't pay 80 dollars for the MotivX kit. I only bought the funnel and the wrench separately for 25 dollars. I made my own drain hose by using the one that came with the oil filter for 7.50 and comes with a crush washer. Not even a drop on me or the floor.

I have no idea why i bought TWO of these in the past. First one broke down, second one broke down 2 months after driving. These things are just a full on scam for people. I,agine you dont know technical stuff ... you cant fix it!

at time stamp 13;24 that neutral reverse switch i recommend coating the wire contacts with epoxy. as oil heats and cools it weakens the bond of the solder at the contacts. with the epoxy the oil doesn't get near them.

Great job man! I have inherited one of these with a missing pull chord handle. I have replaced that and tinkered with it some. The throttle and choke are frozen up and the gas cap is stuck like I've never seen anything stuck. So you got lucky it did not have an air leak in the crank seals. Of course you no doubt would have found the leak and replaced them!
Think you forgot a washer on the primary clutch which might explain the slight noise. Also pretty sure thats a 250 not a 220 (its a 250 front bumper) otherwise very good series of videos, thanks!

your PUMP has 110V in it from the black plug - it sends power thru the float switch, but youve wired it backwards and have LIVE power sticking out of a male lamp cord and you hooked the female lamp cord to the DEAD switch end, if you unplug that white cord you will get bit, or worse - the male cord end should be on the switch, the female (safe) end should be on the pump float wires
Hello, on 7:39 you install the shaft bearing retainer. I haven't this part on my bike and i have oil leak. I did some research and i can't find this part on suzuki oem spare parts. Could you help me to find it ? Thanks
