I love your stream. You provide info but I like your perspective since you live up in the mountains. I am looking to move up there from the metro area but I am looking for a place with "wired" internet for my panned retirement business venture. I can't use satellite and Starlink is iffy. It's hard to find accurate internet info in listings, if it's mentioned at all. Any tips to speed up that info seeking process?
Hi Coach. Internet is one of those items that can be a house by house basis. We always ask the seller who they are using and the speeds they are getting. As an example, in some areas like Sinton Rd on Squaw Pass, there was a local provider (Clear Creek Broadband) that came down the road and offered to wire everyone in. From my experience, most did but some did not so it's always a case-by-case basis. I recommend starting with the house that you like and then identifying their speeds instead of trying to identify speeds in the area. Reach out and we can chat more.
🤣I had to rewind a second during the construction part. They were talking about how bad traffic was and you said cranes everywhere, but I thought you said Koreans everywhere. I was like, there is no way he just said that 🤣
El Pinal = El Pinnal. It is not El Peenyal. I sent links to my folks in Evergreen. I grew up on El Pinal St. I know how to pronounce it. Yes, El Pinal is a neighborhood.
Most realtors are just out there to do the paperwork. I love your accurate extensive knowledge on all things home related. I am in the construction world specifically septic installation and your brief description of the functionality of a septic system as a whole sounds like you have a pretty good grasp on how they actually funtion. Most people dont have a clue
the closest bite will be Brooklyn's At The Pepsi Center. You can park your car and in the lot and walk over there. obviously can be busy if you try going in the last hour before an event. If you want something nicer, you have Ocean Prime, Capital Grill, or EDGE Restaurant just across Speer and super accessible
Hey does Uber Eats and Door Dash do deliveries in Conifer? Btw, great video, fellas! Thinking of scooping up a business there, so yeah, I'de live there too 😂
I love here and not really. Sometimes and I mean SOMETIMES a driver will pick up our area? But usually we're too far and very few people drive local. (P.s. what business are you thinking about?)
Sean, Brother, before I watch the rest of this video, gotta correct your Spanish. Buena Vista is Spanish for "Good View". Buena is pronounced "Boo-eh-nah". Not "Bona". That's Italian. OK. Done. I'll shut up. Back to the video. Buena Vista is going to be a town on my model railroad now set along the Tennessee Pass Linne of the D&RGW railroad, so I need to see the surroundings.
@@randallhawkinson4727 you will find out that there are certain towns that the pronunciation doesn’t make sense compared to the spelling. This one is one of them. Byoonah is how this one is pronounced. I know it doesn’t make sense to you but I don’t make the rules
$1,000,000 house in castle rock costs $400,000-$500,000 where I live. That can’t be justified considering you live in the mountains and the weather is pretty poor.
“Native” pro tips: Subaru have been making AWD longer than anyone and it shows…on top of being affordable. Buy an old one from enlisted folks shipping out…Treat it well. Other than that, Coloradoans (NOT Coloradans) don’t claim DENVER…it’s a sanctuary shitty. There are loads of decent towns, no I won’t share them, enjoy finding them.
Loved visiting this area. Great info on the cemetery. People at AVA are good people to travel the river with and zip line etc. pick axe pizza pretty good. Also hit that dairy king on the way out of town in Empire. The drive from Idaho springs to winter park is sweet!
I just spent 3 hours in the car for a half hour trip. This town is the worst place to drive in the entire timezone and its entirely filled with yuppies. I really h8 this place like no other on earth.
I was stationed at Lowry AFB in the 80s for technical training school. I loved the area. Interesting to see what the former base is being used for now.
Oh god. Of course they're from Texas - me, also from Texas I will say, if you are moving here from out of state, try to at least live by a couple of rules: try to assimilate a bit and don't be an a**hole. You will find that the real natives, the people who are second, third, fourth generation are the kindest people who will give you the clothes off their backs. Do not take advantage of their kindness, keep in mind, though, that they are incredibly fierce and protective of their city and state. Do not try to make this place something that its not.

Conifer to the nearest Costco is less than a 25 min drive. Pro or maybe a con (depends on what you want), Conifer is a suburb of the Denver metro area. As is Evergreen. Both towns are barely in the mountains. As a native I’d even say they are “foot hill” communities.
Ive been working off upper bear creek rd this week, and i completely fell in love. they're currently building some monster mountain homes up there on the hill side and i want in😂 maybe one day. thank you so much for the background info!!
