Stephen A loves telling folks he doesn’t care what they think, and they’re not qualified to discuss sports, but can have an opinion about a professional sport he’s never been able to play.

I don't tend to fault people too much when they do their minimum legal duty. That's what Paterno did here- bare minimum, but could've done more. That is why, despite the heinous acts of Sandusky, I don't tend to fault Paterno as much. People have their reasons. Maybe it's a matter of legal liability- child sex abuse is a major accusation, and one might want to take a breather and go through the chain of command rather than directly to police over concerns of making wrongful accusations. Maybe it was that handling child abuse was a personal weakness of Joe's. Tarnishes his legacy a bit; then again, show me someone who has zero character vulnerabilities and I will concede the point. That is where Craig and I will disagree. Same goes for why I tend to support those who used steroids in baseball pre-2003 testing. Same goes for why I am supportive of Trevor Bauer. For all I care, Sandusky could've murdered the boys afterwards- if Paterno does his minimum legal duty, I won't fault Paterno much despite the heinous nature. Pathos plays very little role in my assessment. Btw Craig was in zero position to be preaching virtue given his later conviction for securities fraud. Do the right thing- freaking hypocrite, I can't stand them.

He let a pedophile run free and knew he was abusing children. Saying he had reasons in completely inexcusable. These kids lives were forever changed for the worst. Not just the kids, but their families too.

Ik it's an old video, but it's ironic that this self-entitled prick degraded and gaslighted a young journalist and talked out of his obvious hatred for PSU before gathering all the facts--if you honestly believe multiple parties knew the transgressions for 25 years and nothing came out you're just plain stupid. No wonder he had legal troubles and was put in prison himself. Obviously didn't look in the mirror when he called the journalist "self-entitled." Who woulda thought?
