Re Roger Vivier, it has become a symbol of professionalism and status for women in Hong Kong. It’s also known to be very comfortable for long-time wear, something I find not very common in luxury footwear (most of them hurts really bad despite looking really beautiful!) With that being said, I’m curious whether you have any footwear recommendations that are good for work ? I myself dont want to wear the same shoes as everyone in Central and have been exploring other options Sorry about the negative customer service experiences, indeed services in hk are sometimes notorious for their rude or impatient attitude, it is something that we need to improve on!

Hi I have a Mark cross soft leather briefcase it has a leather which is somewhat oval in shape and it has the name Mark Cross with a lion's head on top do you suppose you could tell me about when that would have come out? ANY STORE that treats a POTENTIAL CLIENT SHABBILY is NEVER going to get my $$$. It is very sad that after 3 generations they have already lost their role and their heritage. ALL of their staff need to be retrained form the TOP DOWN.
Its a shame about the experience. Singapore retailers (as far as i know) are always big on mystery shoppers or what not, just to make sure their employees are on their toes and being consistent. Perhaps some brands are too arrogant to be nice to everyone walking through their door.
I didn’t know they were big on mystery shopping. Singapore is extra is extra whether is cleanliness or crime for example so I expected the same when it came to service and retail experience. What a pity.
Croc bags are fine, but for me I have always wanted one spectacular alligator bag. Problem as always is that I have champagne taste on a coke budget. 🙂 Thanks for the video I like learning from you.

I’m surprised that so many croc bags are offered in Hong Kong and Singapore with their hot, humid weather conditions that are deadly for exotic skins. I’ve heard some in Singapore store their regular leather bags in “hot boxes” to preserve them.

Moynat is next to Goyard on Rue Saint Honoré as it was opened to rival Goyard. When it first opened it certainly did especially when it came to the quality of its products.
Adding on to my previous comment - another thing that drives me mad in salons/spas is the inevitable discussion on your love life/status. Especially as someone that has spent more time single than coupled up. It's one thing to inquire casually but usually there is some kind of analysis/judgement that follows 🫠. It is a slippery slope to befriend anyone that provides services.

I was getting my pedicures in the same lovely little spa for more than a decade and I started to feel as if the technicians became too familiar with me (and especially the owner). She would most often be sitting at the front desk fielding calls and welcoming people in. However, she was quite nosey and in a way that ultimately drove me to stop getting services there. I am someone who wears my heart on my sleeve and can be too friendly. I do like to chat with people but sometimes it just goes too far, and once the genie is out of the bottle, you can't put it back in. I developed a health imbalance that showed on my face quite a bit and the owner became kind of obsessive with asking me questions (how am I doing, what do I think happened, my resolution steps, etc). I would feel terrible about myself in the end as it was such a sensitive subject, so I thought to myself, why am I paying a premium for this experience?

Hi Anesu I have to say I totally agree with you. I love getting a pedicure it’s also my time to read in silence. The person should concentrate on what they are doing and ask if you are pleased when done. Some people know how to please and others don’t. 🤷🏽♀️…….🤗🇨🇦

I think that your general assessment of the value for price on these bags seems accurate. It was interesting to hear more about FLP since I've had minimal exposure to the brand overall. I would consider a canvas bag but might prefer the aesthetics of Moreau canvas when it comes down to it. Thank you, Anesu ✨

Ppl prefer to pay for Hermes bc they know they won't make too much losses or at all when they ultimately sell the item. "Not worth" to pay for other brands bc no resell value and thus not worth the money

I don't think 1019 euro for a canvas bag, lined in textile with leather touches is a " steal". It's a nice bag but not worth more than 350 euro. Sorry.
They do provide cites with the bag so you can travel with it mainly for the US into the UK you don’t need a cites in your personal luggage. Unfortunately those are the rules even if it’s a small amount of alligator.
Faure Le Page only makes alligator bags now?!😳 In the past they had a big variety of exotic leathers.. since beginning of pandemic a lot has changed in terms of design as well🙁 They used to make original Parade bag fully in exotic leather, when it was already discontinued & replaced by Parade soft. I’m a little sad seeing what is happening to the brand😔
Thanks for your considered review of the Fauré “touch” alligator bags. Totally agree that coated canvas + exotic skin = tasteless. Plus the rip-off prices are extraordinary.
