Hi, im tryingbto train my dog to use litter .. currently using tofu cat litter but my dog keeps eating the litter . How can I stop that from happening .. im worried to later on leave her unattended and she ends up eating a lot
What if the dog is stronger than a than a buff toddler? hahahah. I'm like 3days into this project and barely got one trimmed. Bought the best silent dremmel I could find because my dog sense the clipper from miles away. Shoot, someone needs to talk to me in a soothing voice and say it's gonna be OK after this endeavor hahaha.
I'm like trying to bribe dude with extra walks and pettins. He ate a whole half pound of a chicken as well. He takes his bribe then go's back on the deal after swallowing.
Starting to think .y only option is a sedate and trim at the vet. I really only wanted to do that if absolutely necessary but I'm at a loss how to do this alone.
I've left it on next to him for like 4 days prior, gave him positive reinforcement when around it. Treats,puppy voice. It's like he knows when I'm going in, shit nearly had me in tears yesterday after about 4 hours the frustration was immense.
Probably because you have to suck up and hide that frustration, because surley dogs can sense it, then associate the dremmel with that. I got him when he was 7 months and the 1st time he saw clippers he ran like his life was on the line. I think maybe he had a bad experience with getting his nails cut before adoption, because he knew exactly what they where the 1st time I showed them.
I'm like trying to reason with him like "Rebel, my little mans... I'm trying to help you out here, I've never hurt you before just truest me" he ain't having it.
(Suzie) Our puppy was litter box trained and made a great transition to our home. We got one of those big square white things that you put under a washing machine for leaks. We put in horse pine pettets and have it in the garage...no smell, no mess, she knows where to go and feels safe there. We don't have to go out at night, when it's raining, in the morning when the grass is all wet. We put one in the basement at our summer home and she goes down all by her self!!
So I don’t use a Dremel blade because I’ll probably end up messing up burning through I use regular clippers, but my Chihuahua who is eight years old screams, bloody murder and I can barely get one or two nails clipped and I’m talking screaming like a banshee and wiggling

Hi, my name is Eve Caliendo and I had inherited a Chinese crested that wasn’t taken care of properly and then they shaved her and her hair is like cotton candy and it mats up just looking at it and I’m looking for a it’s a double sided brush to get the mats out and also something like a rake that will do it also And I’ve had bought some shampoo that they said that would be good for a Chinese crested and I bought a conditioner and I also bought an after spray and I gave her a bath and shaved her neck and her face, but to the ear to shave it they never had the ears Set up so ears are long and floppy and I just need to know I mean I was a groomer for over 40 years but never had this problem before because were excellent and like I said this is horrible so I need some help if you would help me she’s afraid of everything.
