I'd love to see a video on Malamutes! Whenever I look for videos on them I only see byb wooly malamutes that aren't groomed properly. And your videos hold such a high standard!
Thank you so much for the amazingly kind words!! I try hard to get the best of the best and I’m pretty darn proud of what I’ve been able to share this far. Totally dig the malamute idea! I will add them to the list for sure
I’m trying desperately to find Internet connections to upload episode two! Currently on a cross country dog transport and in the middle of somewhere Oregon.
Love your Sheltie show grooming videos - First Rate, to be sure! One ever-so-slight thing Jackie didn’t mention: NEVER use Shimmer Lights on a puppy coat, as the hair is too soft and will leave a resulting LAVENDER undercoat! Save it for when the dog has a full ADULT coat. Evidently, this is something that experienced folks in the fancy already know, but as I’m showing a Sheltie for the first time, I deferred to Jackie’s top-level experience and knowledge (despite having 2 superb whitening/brightening shampoos in my arsenal). An innocent oversight, I’m certain, but pretty significant!
Love you videos ❤ going to go to my first dogshow in less than 2 weeks, I'm so exited and nervous. I would love to see an episode on Japanese Chin, there aren't any videos on RU-vid on show grooming for the breed 😁❤
I was very exciting! I remember my first show. I literally lost my shoe in the ring! One of the best days of my life. Be sure to let me know how it goes. You will do just fine. If I can lose my shoe in the rain and then 14 years later have my dog when it Westminster you’ll do just fine. I plan on adding the chin to the library so be on the lookout for sure
@@BestInShowBitch haha that is amazing. It went really good. He got excellent with CK, and cert 😁 when I got excellent i just whent out of the ring because some of the other ppl didn't so, so I thought I was done, so the judge hade to run after me and get me back. Luckily they new i was new 😂😂 but it was a lot of fun 😁
It would be helpful to me to state the brands and model names of the scissors/ thinning shears. Thanks for saying where you use them! And to give more of a close up of the product labels. Difficult to see on my phone. Thanks!
I’m going to do my darndest to get that on future episodes that I found. Specifically ask each time. Thank you for the fabulous suggestions. I do try to link the exact products in the description of the video on RU-vid. I also have them listed on my website.I do need to get better on the shears though. Some are the exact ones they use while others are similar style
BIS B since I have a new breed, I’m trying to assess what I need. Difficult to buy scissors without holding them. And I like information on the different products although they may not be applicable to my breeds. On my Facebook I posted a picture of my new puppy.
