Unfortunately it’s hard to find any reviews regarding AI development. Instead I see a lot of “kids” reviews for gaming. I never played any game. I want to see purchase criteria for AI development purposes Nvidia vs. Apple Neural engine. But I understand that this content is for another audience. So I guess for your channel your “review” seems to be on the point. Nothing for me though.
Thanks This may make it possible to use it as I only have 30mm between tv and wall (as it hangs like a picture ) so no space for a camera even if I would put up with a top mount 😁
Anyone use a USB-C extension cable? If so, which one and which length? Are you extending the camera feed or the LED feed? I tried using several longer USB cables with the camera, none have worked thus far...
I just subscribed! Great thought out video. I like you combine your expert observations with some relevant testing data. Do you think the new ColdFront Hyper 5.0 cooling performs better than the side vented design of 2023 (ie Slim) versions?
Hey man, welcome aboard. I think there’s a generous improvement for the 2024 7i over the slim- most notably in thermals and fan noise. If you’re into overclocking/overvolting(within reason), the 7i can provide more consistent performance with ColdFront
If you want to use for gaming then go for 240hz , if you want it for editing and creative work, slightly better colour accuracy and display quality, go for 3.2k
The newly recent issued Lenovo Legion laptops are 100% Windows 11 24H2 Ready (24H2 Release Preview was released on May 22nd and is safe to use). BE 100% SURE you have installed NVIDIA Driver 555.85 PRIOR to deploying 24H2 on these laptops as the reviewer here has done so already as stated in the video. NVIDIA Driver 555.85 IS the ABSOLUTE BARE minimum NVIDIA GPU Driver version required for Windows 11 24H2 because it contains the new WDDM v3.2 stuff that 24H2 uses. So as very fair warning, if you are using an older NVIDIA Driver PRIOR to 555.85, you will run into issues if you do not install 555.85 prior to upgrading to 24H2 (this goes the same as for any other system you plan on deploying Win11 24H2 to as well).
This device is seriously underrated. It's a great backup PC handheld while your Steam Deck is in for repairs >_< I would have preferred if it shipped with HoloISO out of the box, but it's honestly been fine with Windows 11 so far.
Please help me to buy right... I am still choosing between this black greatness 7i 3,2k or to go with g16 4070 with OLED, what do you think, what about fan noise and temperatures on the body? I heard that 7i is always warm to touch, and ot top it is close to 60c which is god damn high... is there any way to undervolt it maybe for surfing / playback. Please give your advice.
Is there no alternative with a Ryzen 9 7950X3D and the RTX 4090? Or is it because of Intel's monopolistic agreements that prevent AMD from pairing their best processor with the latest RTX ? ....
Do you plan on reviewing the Pro 7i Gen 9 also? I haven’t seen much about it and what I have seen, shows CPU temps being almost 100c on certain titles.
First review I’ve seen with the eclipse black 😂 quick question, will you do a G16 vs Legion 7i comparison? Or a Yoga 9i vs Legion 7i, I want to see of Yoga 9i gives a substantially better battery life as it will be suited more to a creator like me who also wants to game on the side
I think the yoga 9i and the g16 are a good comparison, same processor and gpu at same tgp too. The 7i is weird this year as I don't think there is a direct competitor to it.
@@aayushkhokhar16 yeah I had a Legion 7i gen 9 before i returned it due to black screen issues, alot of the reviews I see of Yoga 9i is from people with the 4060 version, I want to know how good the battery life of the Yoga is compared to Legion and G16, I think they all still have trash battery life though, so I think based on how upgradable the Legion is, I’ll be picking up a Legion 7i again when it goes on sale
Great comparison! The HDR issue with Spiderman 2 isn't unique to the Steam Deck, the same problem exists on HDR panels on PC. The HDR color space isn't done correctly.
Mr Tek, you’ve def help sell me on govee. I have this sync box couple Lyra and the ultra panels, but since this is more of a niche thing no one has this answer from what I’ve looked. Is there a way to use this box for music audio light display than just what’s on the screen? It is getting it from hdmi because you have that sound option where it still does the screen but pulses to the audio. But is it possible to take everything I have sync the audio through the box that’s connected to my pc rather than each items internal mic or my phone. I know they have a music sync, but it’s still just using a mic instead of input audio.
Ahhh clickbait title like this, both are definitely not in trouble. Switch while the performance mostly sucks for AAA games has a huge fanbase and is dirt cheap. Steam deck is cheap as well and also comes with a very good design etc etc. They're definitely far from being dead. Ayaneo, Asus have tried & both failed to take them down lol
I still use lenovo legion 5 Ryzen 7 5800H with RTX 3060 got it on sale in 2022 for £700 It’s been fantastic never had an issue with it. Easy to upgrade ram and SSD which i did day one. I was so impressed with the quality and performance. If i ever get another laptop it will be a legion!
