I tried to contact you about purchasing one of these through your email source, but never got an answer. My question is, if you get the 105, can you get it with the pedal system and then get a trolling motor either on the side or does the pedal system come out and you can put the trolling motor in there. No one ever emailed me back.
I worked at a.c.k houston and sold a lot of kayaks. I had a native titan 13.5 .... i did so many test with it for woody callaway and native watercraft. This could be a good boat but i do not see much on youtube. If you like i could test it to see how good it really is. Like i said i know kayaks and skiff. Check out my channel ... i would love test it.
I am new to Kayaking and purchased this Kayak. I am a bigger fella and very disappointed in how tippy and unstable it is. I tried and tried to paddle out on to the lake and never made it 3 ft before ending up in the water. I don't believe the weight restriction is correct and just overall disappointed ........
Hi Joe, Firstly, we want to assure you that our kayaks undergo rigorous quality control checks, and the weight restrictions provided are accurate. However, kayaking can sometimes feel unstable, especially when starting out or if the kayak is not the right fit for your paddling style and body type. We would love to assist you further to ensure you have a positive kayaking experience. Please submit a detailed description of your concerns and experience in writing to our customer service team at help@bkkayaks.com. This will allow us to investigate your issue thoroughly and provide you with the best possible support and solutions. We look forward to assisting you and helping you enjoy your time on the water.
I have two fishing kayaks from Brooklyn ……one is paddle drive……one is peddle drive with a propeller. Both are great. I highly recommend their products.
I just wish Brooklyn thought about the anglers who require bow mounted trolling motors. Even the drain plug somewhat inhibits transom mounted motors. I can overcome the lack of bow mounts through DIY, but users shouldnt have to do that. The payload of this kayak is why im buying it but i want Brooklyn to know i am not enthused about the lack of basic forethought in the design on the bow and transom.
I recently got my SK12 and I'm very excited to get it on the water, but it has been 4 days since I have first reached out to them now and I can't get anyone to respond to my emails. The email form says to call for emergencies, but when you call it is an automated message that says that email is the faster way to communicate. Both are automated and I have yet to speak with an actual person since I have received my kayak. I just need my bill of sale and the MCO and I will be all set. I have dealt with other online kayak companies who have responded and sent all the pertinent information the same day so it should be a quick process, but I don't know what to do. It seems like they only respond when people file a complaint to the BBB. If I am unable to speak to someone and get this resolved quickly then I guess that will have to be my next step. The kayak arrived on time and in great shape, but it is designed to be used with a motor and I can't do that until I get all of this sorted out. Hopefully Brooklyn Kayak Company reaches out soon and makes this right. It seems like any one who needs an MCO or bill of sale from them has to deal with the same issue.
i ordered this kayak and im waiting for mine but im really trying to get very detailed information on this. and i wish it had more info on those rod holders how deep they go. i really would like to see the bottom of the kayak and see if theres a good spot for a transducer. because i want to map the lakes in virginia while i fish
Currently saving my tip money for one of these kayaks me and my family can enjoy some outdoors in Michigan they seem worth the money even though a little $$$ should hopefully have it by next summer.
I was just now looking at this product on Amazon and the pictures show it as it is in this video. But the reviews all say the block that you mount the motor to is flimsy and doesn’t match this video or the pictures because it is black not white
I have the old model, and I love it. I was in 15-20mph winds today by myself and had very little trouble getting where I wanted to go. Couldn't catch anything because my speed was all over, but that's not the kayaks fault. I'm now planning on how to get this one. It looks like you have fixed every single grievance I had with the previous model.
100%! We love our customers and aim to give the best experience. This redesign took some time but we wanted to get it right. Hope you are able to check them out soon
What do the competitors similar kayaks weigh? Honestly I’m loving the layout of all storage being up front. I can’t stand not being able to reach behind me. If it takes an additional 15lbs to have this layout and for the price rn then to me it’s worth it
@@xarrow81 Hey friend! The crescent is 8 lbs lighter, has a 50lb less weight capacity, has no seat, no storage, and essentially none of these Pro features. If weight is a concern for you we recommend going with a modular kayak. Each piece ranges from 25-30 lbs.
