They taught us how to make mayo at school when I was a child, it was fun, I also remember doing some of the recipes on his videos, the mexican burger was one of my favorites!
I’ve never seen anyone not fry catfish. Can it be grilled or seared without the breading? I’m from the South and I LOVE all seafood. Except catfish. I remember not liking the taste. I feel like it might’ve how it was cooked and the seasoning. However, it’s been decades since I’ve tried it; so I’d like to try it again but maybe grilled.
That looks like the perfect cooked catfish. Little lemon, hush puppy, fry’s, slaw, I have to go to sleep quit making me hungry. Now I’m have to dream how to make it prefect it somehow.
Why not just go ahead and fillet the damn thing? Seems to me like you'd get more meat! . . . Also for the people who do not know while you're frying chicken or anything with hot grease including catfish if you keep some of the breading around you while you're cooking putting the breaded food in to the grease and some of that splashes back up onto your hand or whatever you can quickly put your hand or whatever you got burnt into that breading and that dry breading will actually pull that hot oil away from your hand or wherever you got burned if you do it immediately as it's happening I used to work in restaurants that's how I discovered this trick I hope this actually helps somebody
I was in China long ago and this is how they made their cat fish. I distinctly remember the 1" rib slices and each piece came off as perfect bite size. And delicious
