Mom’s Homemade Chocolate Meringue Pie
Ingredients:
1 Ready to Bake Pie Crust
Pie Filling:
1 Cup Granulated White Sugar
4 Tbsp. Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
4 Tbsp. Self-Rising Flour
¼ Tsp. Salt
2 Egg Yolks
2 Cups Milk
½ Stick Butter
1 Tsp. Vanilla
Meringue:
4 Egg Whites
¼ Cup Granulated White Sugar
¼ Tsp. Cream of Tartar
1 Tsp. Vanilla
Garnish with Chocolate Shavings

This has always been my birthday pie. My mom used the recipe I have in my 1978 Betty Crocker cookbook. I make my own now my mom is gone, but my daughter is going to try next year. I told her she has almost 12 months to practice on me, lol. Thank you for this video.

My mom too, with evaporated milk, added eggs and vanilla and some secret ingredient because I cannot make mine taste as good as hers. I guess it was probably just the love she poured into the pies. Miss her so much, especially at Christmas!

We we really don’t have control over the ads especially since they just changed to a new policy. We have expressed our concerns to them.
