2:51 Does the 90 and 110 have a difference in ride height or is that just a camera distance or camera distortion problem? I would think they are identical except for the body length
Defender 110 are LWB got 135mm wheel base and Defender 90 got 111mm wheel base.axle same, 2 speed gear box low gear very low speed with N at middle 110 and 90 same, but front and rear drive shaft and axle link not same length, it is all new series, very fun to play, very good quality, lot of option from FMS. but LWB are better performance than SWB at out door, like the real, 1988 i got my first 110 and i put ARB diff lock at both front and rear axle and lift kit, it is very good performance up 45 Deg and down 45 Deg, 1996 i got my first Defender 90, i put ARB diff lock at both axle too. but 90 not easy both up 40 deg and down 40 Deg at Hong Kong country side. Next month this set Camel trpphy Landy got VM version, all 4model will got improve, the 90 got more improve, but only in Hong Kong my shop.

@@Hjerte_Verke this set 1/24 body very relistic and with accessories , the only problem is need a little over size tire, as 1/24 tire too small, not possible play at garden, now is very good, i want use Discovery / Range Rovery tire on 90, as the 90 wheel base just 111mm. VM Version got lot of improve for off road at garden.

I like driving with open diffs too😊. But I like the original LC80 from FMS better.. it’s more capable because of its lower center of gravity. I have the FCX18 LC80 too - but now I prefer the old with the straight axles. I like that FMS has made a two-speed straight axle Land Rover series. I’d like to order the Discovery 1 and the Range Rover. The Discovery 1 looks by far the best of them all👌
@@Sol-hl2rj This is why New 1/24 Land Rover 90/110. Disc 1 and Range Rover got straight axles. yes, you cau use first series LC80 or unimog axle to the 2 speed LC80 too. but we use portal axle at our LC60/73, LC40 and LC 80 at out 1/1 Toyota since 1995, most form Volvo light truck.

it is all new, The FMS FCX24M Landy series, vey small but very nice, low gear very low, hi speed also fast. all new gear box with super low first gear than N and fast gear and a anti toroue twist system and all new axle, metal chassis. all new suspension shock and ball joint at both end, it is a new 1/24 STD at market, just the tire over size, as if use scale tire no perfor,ance at out door off road. Defender got 90 and 110, so you can test both LWB and SWB performance, the classic Range Rover and Discovery 1 also very very nice, the alxe move to rear a little, so better performance. body very nice too. still very realistic.you can bring 4 model together to play. The quality must the best at market for landy lover.

sorry to bother you but i worked it out they r made in Italy by almost real full diecast little bit exspensive 720$ here in Australia but very nice i remember watching them in Madagascar and in sulawesi also in Sumatra and the first camel in 1980 in brazil were 3 german teams drove jeeps and thats what started it all awesome event ..
i believe Every 1980s RC lover he must remember at 1981 Tamiya 1/10 Toyota 4x4 pick up and 1982 Chevrolet Blazer you need buy a 4CH RC as it got a 3 speed gear box, semi elliptical leaf spring use wrong metal and wrong construction, the main leaf spring and second leaf both end joint together, wrong design this make the leaf spring can not work when got load. This make suspension not working!!! only i know this at 1982, I use clock spring to DIY, they are so realistic and in scale and soft for my Hilux and Blazer. Bruiser from 1985 to 2012 use 750 motor, new long leaf spring and front wheel one way bearing, no more manual free wheel hub at front axle, so good for turning but not good for off road, when truck use 1 st gear to reverse no front wheel drive! after sand go inside no front wheel drive any more too. Today Bruiser (RN36) and mountain rider use new gear box and 540 motor front, rear axle got diff inside, can manual lock, but take 15-20 min to do 2 axle lock or unlock , as the lock pin hole on the top of both axle, can not believe. but it is still fun at 80s.I got so many expensive Hilux at 80s and i DIY 2 in to 6X6 and one be semi track all leaf spring and hand made rear 2 axle with see saw automatic balance . on the read use middle axle drive, off road use 6x4, max deep mud or climbing at rock area use 6x6, it is so fun at 80s, you can see this at 80's Radio Control Magazing in HK and Japan. if you want to know more about Tamiya history go to vist our FB, it is Chinese but you can use google translate. TThis RN36 with open diff, after take out 2 leaf spring, it can go to off road, but not very good. but todays Battery so light, than you mst take out 2 leaf spring at each wheel, I believe need a new soft off road tire.
