Can you post a link for the chain tensioner you used. I guess you replaced it I. Place of the current. Second why will my grease gun not fit the nipple on my rear axes bearings. Lastly do the covers on side the wheel cover the lug nut just snap off or are the screws functional. Ty
@@jimcrowe7768 the chain tensioner that I used was horrible.. I do not recommend it at all as far as the grease gun that's weird they should be standard fittings however they have been known to piece these together with whatever they had laying around. You should be able to find zerk fittings anywhere
@@Projects815 which wires on the new speedometer go with the old ones? I saw someone else put Blue with Blue, and then looks like he twisted Red and Orange together and wrapped those around the two remaining wires (Looked like a Yellow wire and a darker one that might've been Black or Green) that went to the old speedometer. However, it seemed that despite his lighting up, it doesn't actually function correctly so I'm afraid to follow that. You're the only one I've found so far demonstrating a working one in the coolster
@@fallingleaves2672 I used a voltmeter each Jeep is built very differently from stuff they have laying around... Check voltage on all wires with key on you will also have a wire that is hot without the key on.
My Mini 125 seems to be stuck in neutral, no matter what gear I switch it to, it just keeps revving. It was working fun when I was using it, stopped for a few minutes then suddenly started having issues. Not sure what happened? Any advise?
I just got a mini jeep. When I gas it and then slow down, then press the gas again it the engine stutters then either i left off of the gas which makes it idles very weak or i press the gas and then turns off. Am I driving it wrong or do I need to adjust the fuel flow value and idle screw
Dude you just saved me. Tried starting it for 20 minutes. Killed the battery. Freaking GAS WAS OFF 😂 This is our second jeep and I was so confused. Thank you!!
Hey I bought a mini jeep 125cc from Venom motorsports Canada I have the mini jeep on Layaway! Did you have any problems with the chain running off track?
Hey man, love the videos! I do have a question, how are you able to drive it on the road and all around your town? I understand that each state is different, but how would I look into seeing if I can take my mini-jeep on the road? Thanks!
I got one that won't run not gettin fuel I ordered a carb put it on still won't run piece junk I no it fuel can spray fuel in it runs till runs outta vapor
i had some issues with the throttle cable vibrating out of adjustment on me and it would cause it to not run or idel right and then it happened again last weekrr and nothing would get it running again other then starting fluid or spraying gas directly in the air intake. i also had close to a half tank of gas and could not even get any get to come out of the line but i had to move it to a difrent spot to work on it and was on flatter ground, and then it started working good enought to get the cable and throttel screw set perfect.. so it turned out that the sucker tube sticks up in the tank so if its not full or on any sort of slight incline.it will not get gas to the line.
And yes, that magneto does that but that’s why the first modifications people do is put a smaller alternator on it to be able to charge the batteries everything that is on it except for the engine is good me personally I have a 440 cc Duramax mower engine in ittook down the gas bump stop so there is no limits. It’s pretty fun.
My biggest problem is, and I’m sure I’m not the only one, that with all the fun things that I have to do and play with in my nice little life, I don’t have one of these mini jeeps. Not even one! Sad story, I know. Maybe someday…
I'm stunned they ship them out without greasing the rear bearings. I just read the manual, no mention of that anywhere, or even the fact the rear bearings exist!
I just moved to Illinois from Cali. Debating on picking one of these jeeps up. Do you have yours registered at all? I’m finding mixed info on if there able to be registered for on road use. I intend to use only on side streets to putter over to my dad’s place but don’t want to risk the 5-0 giving me issues, yet see guys on (what I’m used to being) illegal pit bikes and 5-0 doesn’t care
The negatives were very minor and I like the tire choice. I would use grade 10 bolts on your chain sprockets . Where are they available and what kind of price range are they?
Hey unfortunately i dont have instagram but my brake is currently stuck any tips? Update: there was dried mud all over the brake area and i moved it all fixed now :D
