Where did you get the speedo, or does it come with it? If it doesn’t can you do a video on how to get it and install it? I’m getting mine in august and I wanna get that speedo on it
I'm 66 and I love my little jeep I have the rear engine got the rear engine so when I take it in the woods to fill my deer feeders I don't have to worrie about something getting into the chain I go to the store and everyone is talking photos and asking were I got mine it's some were between 30-35 miles per hour the only problem with mine is the bracket on the muffler welded the frame keeps breaking other than that no complaints
I’m wondering, are the sprockets removable? With different sizes? All you need is a 1-2 tooth larger primary countershaft sprocket, or 4-5 less teeth rear sprocket, to get at least another 5 mph out of it. All depends on how much low end power first gear has from a dead stop, especially up hills or on soft terrain? The only other alternative is getting more power out of the little engine, or a four speed with a clutch, but you loose reverse that way. Or just go all out, with a bigger engine swap! Like a late model Honda liquid cooled MX engine! Or air cooled for simplicity.
Is that a joke?? Yea your comment is very true except when changing the sprocket size, you do not have enough horsepower and torque to take advantage of it with this vehicle. You would actually go slower and put a strain on the engine. You "may" get two or three miles an hour more out of it but that is it. Up the horsepower then you can start changing the sprockets.
@@gchsbus Nah they have enough torque in them to gain 5 more mph, no issue. I have a 110 quad and a 110 pitbike, the quad got 5 more mph with a 15 up front, and the pitbike got 8 more mph. you can easily regear for less torque and more top speed with straining the motor and burning the clutch.
Hey man! Thanks for what you do! I have a question for you! I just got my mini Jeep last week. It leaks from the carb pretty bad. Got a new pz20 carb and this one leaks also. Every thing is set correctly and she runs good (except she stalls every now and then from too much fuel) float was check and carb was cleaned twice.... just before you say to do that.... hahaha My question is I think it’s the fuel pump pushing too much fuel. Did you have any problems? Did you do anything to work around the problem? Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!!’
There is a fuel flow valve on them... Usually they break the tab off.. if it's getting to much fuel make sure you shut that a bit. Try that and let me know
I had it shut all the way off at one point.... didn’t stop.... I’ll replace that with a new one and see how that does. I have 3 Chinese pit bikes and I am used to the kinks that have to be worked out. This is my first with a fuel pump.... Thanks for the info. It’s gonna rain here in jersey for a day or so. But I’ll be out working on it again first dry day.... Love this little Jeep. Just need to get around it dumping all the fuel and stalling occasionally and we will be golden! Once again. Thank you for what you do!!!! I appreciate it!
Also, what bothers me is that the retail price on these are $3800-4,000. I paid $2300 plus everything else but the websites still sell them for $2300 or they are out of stock so there isn’t really a resale positive value on this. You can’t sell it for $3,000 or more just because it’s hard to get one.
Imagine if they made cars with 125cc engines. It could be the same size as this just a tiny bit longer and resembling a Mazda AZ-1 just a bit less in height with a very aerodynamic shape... and selling it for 1k. Mmmm
I own one and there’s no way it’s goes 35 mph I wish the fucking thing was automatic I went full speed on it just one time and now my Jeep for some reason is really loud. I mean it sounds like the exhaust tip fell off but it’s there and noise actually starts in the middle at the engine. I know it still works but that loud noise. Wtf could it be.
Projects 815 I just got it 2 weeks ago. The engine was running great and pretty quiet at idle. Then one morning I went full speed on it and the engine started making a loud noise like the exhaust tip was off. However it’s in the middle of the Jeep by the engine and when it idles, it sounds like a V8 - too damn loud.
The exhaust loosens from the head constantly you have to lock tight almost every bolt on these things also to get more speed or power the throttle only opens about 3/4 you can modify the slide just a cable adjustment I’ve had 1 for about 5 years now mine does about 38/40mph I’m 220lbs I just put on softer shocks today the motor mounts broke & the engine punched a hole in the gas tank I took off the chain guard chain rubbed also used some weather strips on the hood to keep vibrations down makes for a much more enjoyable ride I’m selling it in a few weeks maybe if it doesn’t sell I’d like to do an engine swap idk what I’ll put in it maybe Honda 300/400 or 250 2 stroke if I really want to go balls out these jeeps are fun for sure
