I’ve had my keep for about a year I paid $ 500 for it used. Someone seen me riding and was amazed because he’d never seen one and offered me $3500 cash on the spot. I told him where he could find one for less than 3 brand new. I love mine and would never sell it for no amount. Keep getting it with the videos, love em
I have one of these and it has three fluids. Brake fluid, engine oil, battery acid solution. The battery should not be serviceable after installation (sealed). The oil should be only as deep as the filler/dipstick hole (of it's more full than that it'll find a way out I imagine). Check you brake fluid reservoir to ensure its not losing any. Otherwise the only other thing it could be is the blinker fluid. Good luck!
Thank you for the response. I will have to figure out where it's leaking from... I keep checking the dip stick and there is no movement of the fluid level. these only hold 7/8 qt of oil so it worries me.
@@Projects815 I had an oil leak problem with mine when I either didn't have the dipstick screwed down tight enough, or it rattled loose. Tightening it fixed the issue. I've also noticed it would drain gas out of the carb through a tube that just runs down towards the ground (open), some bleed tube I assume. However, once I get to the fuel/air mix right, that seemed to largely clear up (was running way too rich once hot before I tuned it)
@@stevepaddon3606 normally that means your float bowl seat is leaking because it’s trashy or glazed due to old gas. If you have a petcock between the tank and carb shut it off when not in use and run the carb empty before shutting down. That should help
Okay! Wow this is awesome! Where we live we have had to shovel our whole driveway and up and down our easement, for our neighbors..if we ever decide to get one of these this would be so neat to get a snow shovel for the front! Total game changer! As well as a little trailer to make it more useable as well. Wonder what other kind of mods are for these. If any? My husband would most likely be wanting to switch things up if they have other things for it. I’ll have to check into that!
That thing is killer man!....just subscribed!...you know what would be good protection for that thing is some line-x coating or something along the lines of that so it will never rust....its what I would do to mine if I got one is have certain parts coated because I do live in Michigan....but that is super cool...if i decided to get one i would get the highest cc I could get....I seen a bigger and wider mini willys on youtube that's a bit bigger than yours that's really cool as well!
Where did you get the plow for the mini Jeep? Also where did you get the gps speedo??? Thanks man love the videos! I’ve been doing research on these jeeps and you helped make my decision on buying one! I found a some what close dealer to me and heading there next week!
Projects 815 where did you get the plow kit from? I just bought one of these jeeps. I’m also looking for the gear indicator but not sure where to source parts
Projects 815 I’m having a bit of trouble with my Jeep, it bogs down after running for a bit then it becomes difficult to start, I’ve tried the idle screw but still doesn’t fix it. Does yours run good all the time?
I watched your plow install. I am curious if it is the atv or the utv plow version and also. If you might know off hand if the plow will work on the rear mounted engine version. Thanks. Really enjoying the videos
I would think it would work with the rear engine mounted minis as long as the steering is set up the same way you will have to crawl underneath and look
I live in northwest Wisconsin, luckily in snow belt, and where the local Mill’s Fleet Farm has Kolpin Switchblade Plows in stock. I pulled mine off the bottom shelf. I inadvertently grabbed the atv version not the utv. It was $100 cheaper, lighter and a little bit shorter. The frame setup on the rear mounted version is a little bit different. With some manipulation and lots of error, I achieved a configuration with the mounting brackets that should hold up to the snowbelt’s wrath. Thanks again
Hey just wondering if you ever found out what was leaking? I’m having the same issues, have to leave down cardboards for the oil leaks! Just changed the oil and seems to be leaking even more after I drove it! Thanks man!
Did you ever find and fix the leak issue? I just got one and need to know what to expect. Also, do you have a video showing how you installed the speedometer and headlights? I got the same ones for mine
I know where the leak is coming from. (Jack shaft seal) I have not put forth the effort to fix it yet though. I just make sure she has enough oil every other ride. I unfortunately did not post a video on the speedometer and light installs. The lights are directly wired in the speedometer is wired to the ignition switch
@@Projects815 thanks for getting back to me about the Jack shaft. I'll keep an eye on mine. I got my headlights and speedo installed since my last comment. Direct wired the Xprite Halo lights and they work great now. I have the same speedo and keep it set on green also
Where can I find a trouble shooting guide. Had mine for two days. Just went to start it. No power..no lights. Attached a battery charger. . nothing. Also, how do I make it faster. How to mess with the governor
@@ethanwalker1222 not a problem. I try to respond as quick as I can. I got mine from txpowersports.com But I would not recommend using them once they sell it to you they don't care anymore. The best bet is to use safer wholesale.com or orionpowersports.com
