Yes, I would scissor cut it on the top. Generally speaking, once it gets thinner, shorter usually looks better - I know it may sound counterintuitive. If it is thinner, make sure the front area is not long, that will actually make it look thicker. I wish I could see a photo and then I could explain better! You're welcome to instagram me @bushihair
@@AllenRayHair thanks for the reply! I do have a low density problem as well. My frindge is long and curls up but the barber says it's long so that I can comb it over. I'm actually getting a cut today so I'll try to send a pic later for more advice!
I wish I knew where you get your Denman brushes from. I have been looking for a 9 row weighted handle forever. My rubber is cracking, I have had it a while! Even wrote to Denman, with no response. Maybe Denman brushes are discontinued?!

That's a great haircut, my favorite to do for some of my clients with the right type of hair, i do it in totally different way tho. Thanks for the video really enjoyed watching
