I had terrible plantaar fasciitis because of skipping workouts. I used a night splint for 3 months. While my foot hurts on the sides of the small and big toes because of favouring my foot for a long time, the plantaar pain is gone.

I purchased 8 of these. All but one hurt too much after a while. Finally a suggestion to use my blanket in a way that it held my foot up comfortably. mornings are now pain free and only later in the day pains return. Blanket goes over the top of toes then down bottom of foot then back up the back of leg with weight of leg holding its position. The way one normally has it when feet are getting cold.

The carnivore diet cured my plantar fasciitis. So, yes, diet is crucial.

I had 3 sessions of EPAT recently. I had plantar fasciitis for the first time and couldn't put my foot down at all. 3 weeks later, and I'm 95%. I recommend the Shockwave therapy!

Suffered from plantar fasciitis for 11 months and tried absolutely everything from physio to cortisone injection. The pain was so bad at one point I was using a crutch to get around. 7 weeks using a night splint, and the pain is 99% gone. Night splints are a god send to anyone suffering with this. I still stretch regularly and never walk barefoot and have since managed an 11mile hike without any issues 👍

@andywhite1942 how are you now
@andywhite1942
@andywhite1942 3 месяца назад
@tr6151 Still good, my friend 👍 On my feet most of the day with work, Walk/hike regularly outside at least twice a week but keep them at about 10 miles max. Pain is 99% gone, and i haven't had to use the splint since. If I go to the bathroom through the night for a couple of days barefoot, there's a very, very slight something in the heal telling me I need to put on footwear before walking. I cycle roughly 300 miles per week, which may have been a contributing factor to the issue having my foot locked in a non flex carbon shoe for so many hours, not to mention all the tightening of the leg muscles 🤷‍♂️. I definitely own one pair of walking boots that give me heal pain instantly walking around the bedroom 🙄 They have quite a high heel, which I've found are not so good for me. I'll stick with the calf/ IT band stretches (good warm-up for cycling 😉) and include some toe spreads/foot stretches. Sorry for the long-winded reply, but the pain I put up with for so long is a pain I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy, and if it helps anyone, all the better. 7 weeks putting the splint on before bed and taking it off when you get up, very gradually increasing the tension until you can wear the splint with your foot at 90° to your leg. This is NOT an overnight fix and takes a little dedication, but owe my life it certainly worked for me after trying everything other than having my foot amputated 😃👍

I have plantar fasciitis since early summer. Had to stop running (naturally) but also walking 😑 It was terrible to say the least. There was no improvement over the last couple of months so I thought it would take around a year to get good again, as the medical information told me. One week ago I went from "normal" carb and veggies diet to keto or rather carnivore diet for other reasons (mainly weight loss), eating only meat and eggs. Use some cream in my coffee also. Imagine my surprise when after about 5 days my heel pain is gone! 😯Now it's been a full week and the feet feel great! No one had told me about - only the usual jibberish about rolling the foot on a tennisball...

Hey, how are you feeling now? The pain has completely disappeared? Me too, I’m struggling with the plantar fasciitis for almost 2 months now. And it is so difficult not only to walk, but to stand up after sitting and laying down for a while
@rikard76
@rikard76 4 месяца назад
@@aigul5881 It is still there. I went back to carbs 🤦🏼‍♂️ and the pain came back. Have switched back and forth from keto/carnivore to carb diet several times over the past few years. Went back to carbs again a week ago. Immediately the plantar fasciitis started getting noticed again. So did overall joint pain (sometimes I think it’s a part of being 47 years old but apparently not the case) and joint pain in my left wrist when rotating it to the extreme ends of rotation. Having switched back and forth several times now I can without any doubt whatsoever say that going away from carbs makes the body feel so much better overall. This insight makes it much easier to stick to keto/carnivore or at least decrease the amount of carbs as much as possible.

I been have heel pain for the last 5 years or something, but it's wasn't that bad all this time. But now I has begun to be insufferable. Except from the heel pain I also have pain in the ball of foot all the time.( even now, which is why I'm watching the video in bed)I like meat a lot a lot and my mom thinks that's the reason for this.i gonna try homeopathic medicine from now on, it's the only thing left to try😭

This is just my personal anecdotal account. I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis about 3 months ago. I was prescribed various orthotics that didn’t help. About a month ago I switched to a Whole Foods oil-free plant based diet, which my mom’s cardiologist recommend for her after a major stroke. My plantar fasciitis has suddenly disappeared. My face has cleared (had a lot of acne), and no severe PMS Symptoms anymore. I did it for weight loss and to feel more energy. I went from 209 pounds to 191 pounds in 4 weeks. I walk every morning (at 6 am) and I feel a crazy amount of energy. I don’t have to wear orthotics to walk and I’m starting to jog in the mornings. Also my blood pressure dropped from 138/85 to 117/71.

I went through 6 procedures due to middle plantar fasciitis (the pain was not significant, and when it went away) in Colorado Parker with Dr. Miller at Rock Ghiropractik, Shock Waves 9000, I paid $ 2748, a super painful procedure after 6 procedures I could not walk, my legs swelled , pain in a sitting, lying, standing state, was taken to the hospital, they did an MRI .BONES: Reactive bone marrow edema of the plantar calcaneus noted deep to the plantar fascia insertion.!!!! the problem was not cured, but also crippled:((((((and 6 months is needed to recover ... so please be careful and if you live in Colorado do not go to Dr. Miller ... you will lose health and money

Steroid injections do not work permanently for plantar fasciitis. You get about 4/6 weeks relief. But it reduces your fatpad and eventually makes your foot pain worse. Dont go for steroids.
