This just continues to prove that Protoss have to play a perfect game to win. Let’s be honest sometimes perfect isn’t even enough anymore. R.I.P. Protoss.
Red had the first game in the bag but overplayed his hand and found himself overmatched on the other side of his map. What he shoulda done is build/move rax nearer to the front and keep expanding as blue did a lousy job economy-wise.
As somebody who has been on a very long sc2 playing and watching hiatus - what's up with these stat cards at the beginning? are these modifiers real or some in-joke? If they're real, are they base now, or is this some special event thing? Talking about Feudalism, Overcharged, etc
Protoss seems so weak in every pro match. Pretty much only MaxPax and Showtime make it look even playable, but still dont see them win many games vs tops dogs. Protoss is too reliably on hits from spells like disruptors, but every top level terran will dodge them with stims, so they just become pointless and disruptors just take out supply in army and drain resources, at the same time you dont really have option because viking counter colossuses so hard and bio army with few vikings pretty much rolls anything protoss can build.
