@@SheWhoDaresWins no problem - I hope my comments help this video in the RU-vid algorithm. I’m sure you already know podcasts like these are important work, and as a spurs fan it was really interesting to hear about the going-ons inside the club.
I love this! I’ve been heavy set all my life and have had times of expecting that I’d fail at everything because I’m fat. I need to find something like this in my area!
Just did my first cold water triathlon. I followed the lead of the more experienced athletes and went for a short “warmup” swim just prior to the start and glad I did. For the first few minutes when I first entered the water I couldn’t breath or swim. After about five minutes I got accustomed to the cold and was able to swim. When I entered the water for the start I didn’t notice the same cold water shock and was able to swim immediately. I think if I had experienced the initial cold water shock and the chaos of a triathlon swim start simultaneously I would have been in trouble. I was in the water about 40 minutes and when I exited I struggled to run to the transition area but was okay once on my bike. Looking back on data for the race I note my heart rate was much lower for the cold water swim than for a pool training session, 115 v. 135 approximately.
oh wow thanks for sharing your experience and well done for doing a triathalon! big acheievement. I guess the more cold water practice will only see better results :)

Absolutely loved this, What a great insight into the life of a dedicated female Nak Muay... a fighter and coach, and what an eye opening experience for you to challenge yourself and discover those higher, new levels 👏🏽 👌🏽
Thank you! It truely was an amazing experience I loved every second and being able to share it with Christina who is such a pro was the best! More mini dare docs to come 👀
@@She_who_dares_wins her experience was whatever she says. But he could be there doing a different role. She speaks about how he got everything and she was never apart of it so how would she even see.
They probably just didn’t think you were right for the job or didn’t like you or maybe you was just really good at what you was doing and they didn’t want to lose your skills in that area
Nobody is saying “that’s not sexism”. People are (rightly) challenging that this situation is probably more nuanced. They may well have not liked her due to performance issues, the was too good at researching - or it could have been nepotism. It’s maybe not *exclusively* because of her gender.
I work in the industry and can confirm it is both misogynistic and nepotistic. Normal employment laws do not apply for freelancers. The law needs to be changed to stop abuse.
@@She_who_dares_wins absolutely not, but it's also not right to attribute false motive, especially when you're reaching, and influencing, younger minds.
Why is there so much complaining. Its sucks. Everyone is knows it sucks. So dont be blaring you woes and worry onto everyone else debbie downer. You shouldnt have volunteered to be in a volunteer army. And then get upset that its sucks.
@@She_who_dares_wins okay understandable. Im not saying i dont have my gripes amd woes as well. I just sikply say my prayers amd accept my job. Becaise at the end of the day it all gets better.
Fantastic podcast - I would love to know how I can transfer my skills now in to football. What are different routes in to football and what roles there are? (Should specify, non playing roles 🙂)
Hash browns have no place being anywhere near a full English. It's simple eggs, sausage, bacon, black pudding, toast and beans. Maybe a few mushrooms if you're posh. Imo
