"If you do it for joy, you can do it forever." ~ Steven King
17 years ago, I discovered my joy in school bus driving. The joy I have found on the bus and with the kids, is immeasurable.
I didn’t hear the name of the part that’s connected to the gearbox and drag leaf! I have my CDL test coming up and needs to get this pre-trip part down packed 😰
So on dual lane right turn lanes, the school bus should always make the right turn from the curb lane? With drivers coming around taking a right turn on the buses left side it would be easy to tail swing a car with the bus. Right or wrong?
NJ book says you have to physically grab the steering assembly underneath to check for play. Have to check battery fluid level since those were not maintenance free batts. Both of these rules are not directly under the school portion of the test, but they are indeed in the book.
Hi Miss Therese, because I watched your videos religiously for months, I got my CDL liscense today on my first try!!! And I just want to tell how much I appreciate you for this:) you are awesome!! Thanks sooo much ma’am. Btw I’m from New York 😊
A Hardy congratulations to you Georgia! Thank you so much for sharing your successful test outcome with me. I appreciate your comment and feedback. Continued success and all you do.😄👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
The pre-inspection test was a breeze because of your videos. However, I did fail the alley dock test so I have to redo the entire test. Scheduled for it tomorrow. I’ve watched your alley dock videos many times and have practiced that skill number of times since the last test, and I feel pretty good about it. So, I’m hoping I will do well tomorrow and obtain the CDL license.
Good morning, I'm in park county Colorado. Do you not have to chock your wheels for any of the pretrip inspection? I'm checking for my state but I did not notice it for your pretrip.
Hello! This was sent to me for training as I prepare to take a School Bus road test next week, and I absolutely cannot wait. I'm so excited, and I feel so confident because of your video! Thank you so much!! :)
As I’m watching this you’re missing quite a few things but then again I don’t know if this is the minimum required to know to pass 😅 I’m in Arizona and it had to be fully detailed pre trip inspection
I'm in Texas, hoping this works for me. I already have my CDL, but I didn't have the air brakes endorsement... now trying to add it. I've done the written and I went to a work shop to go over this portion, only to find they omitted a lot of it as they didn't deem it important, since the skills part will be changing (not until November). I talked to the instructor of that class and he told me to look you up. I'm glad I did. I'm watching over and over, hoping it sinks in
I’ve been watching your videos on the pre-inspection and the alley docking. I’m in the process of being trained (In TN). The alley docking is what concerns me. So, I’ve been viewing your video. Your videos are the most thorough. I appreciate it!
It’s been 2 1/2 weeks since I passed my CDL I had no idea that I would be at this point. This video helped me understand Parallel parking I failed my first test so I came across this video and understood parallel parking much better. This video is straight to the point and I’m happy to share that I passed my road test thanks to this video ❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Here in NYC the cut off is also at 120psi, but as Teresa stated check with your individual state. I got an exam coming up and Teresa video is extremely helpful. Great tips from tungsten as well.
