I'm Carol from Jacksonville Florida... my Floss Tube Channel name is "Saltbox Stitcher" [Instagram "Saltbox Stitcher"]. I launched my RU-vid channel in May of 2018, and I'm looking forward to sharing my passion for 'Stitching'. Hoping you'll follow me on Instagram and my RU-vid Channel "Saltbox Stitcher" !
I love your stitching and your humor! Your husband is a corny hoot, too! I consider everything you showed a WIP! Personally, I only consider something a “Start” if I have not shown it since my last share. 😮
I did not know that counts of linen fabric have names, that is so cool! So I looked up 46ct Bergen and 56ct White Kingston. Thanks for the info! Also I agree I like to take my time and “slow poke” lol 😂 and when working on higher counts like 40,46,56 you’ll be stitching for hours then look at it as a whole and think “hmmm where’d the time go?”
Have fun with your sister and brother too! Love your projects and always have to laugh at your hubby’s comments. Today I was giggling listening to him eat whatever he was eating. Sounded like a sandwich with thick pickles and lettuce. 😂
I can ramble on all day long about how i love your stitching!, which is the absolute truth. I get so happy when i see you have posted a new video. Also excited to tell the hubby when he comes in from work that Mr. Salt box is making a youtube channel. He is gonna like that so much. What i really came on here to say, and this is unusual for me because i seriously rarely notice one’s clothing, hair, makeup etc. I am a very plain jane 😂😂. But, i just want to say that the blouse you are wearing is perfect on you!!! ❤️❤️❤️ I love your blouse, especially the sleeves! I don’t know what it is that caught my attention other than the fact that you look very lovely today ❤️. You always look lovely, it is just something about this blouse that suits you to a T. Okay, I will hush now that I have probably made you extremely uncomfortable, which was not my intention at all. I am a tshirt and blue jeans shorts kind of ol redneck gal. That is 99.9% of my attire. If i have to “dress up” I get very uncomfortable and feel so totally out of place. I just wanted to compliment you on your attire. You look absolutely lovely! ❤ Keep on stitching Sis and making these videos & i will keep watching. Thanks a million and Blessings to you and Mr. Saltbox and family 🙂🙂🙂
I so enjoy watching what you are up too, you always choose such amazing designs to stitch, I am a Patriotic nut, anything with The American Flag on it. I have to say that Your A Grand Old Flag is one of my top ten favorites. If I lived close, I would come and finish for you. Congratulations on all your finished stitching, I am looking forward to seeing them fully finished. I hope your toe heals quickly, love that horse, that Uncle Sam is amazing, perfect finish, will you share how you display your pillows sometime please. Salute to Abigail is beautiful, love all your want to stitch designs. Thank-you for the amazing Patriotic Parade.
Always love your videos, Carol! Your hair always looks amazing!! Ps. Mr. Saltbox can you please make us "O Tannenbaum!" BOX FOR THE cross stitch design by Brenda Gervais of With Thy Needle and Thread. 🎉 🧵🪡✂️❤️☕️ so much love to y’all from Clemson, SC ❤
So many lovely projects. Thank you for making me feel better about my stack of projects! You have much more than I do,so I guess I need to go shopping!
Loved this video! I really enjoyed seeing your progress on your projects up close and the picture within a picture. Wonderful idea and love seeing your work up close!
L❤VE this video as always! Give The Calculated Stitcher a whirl. She’s a high school math teacher in a tiny town in TX, mainly stitches samplers, and has cute sense of humor… “it’s okay” she says! xx, Lee
Your patriotic stitching is delightful! I enjoy them so much even if I’ve seen before. Please tell Mr. Saltbox I subscribed to h his channel. Enjoy your retreat!❤
yes make a copy of your friends chart to stitch from, just don't talk about it. I think since you both paid for it you are in the clear. Happy Stitching.
Love, love, love all your stitching! And, I love seeing your husband's picture! I hope we can see him live sometime. He is doing such a good editing job!
Carol, it is always such a joy to visit with you!!! I love seeing your stitching and wanna stitches! I would be the same and take way too much stitching with me! Have a fabulous visit with your sister and at Country Sampler! Thanks as always and happy stitching.
Thank YOU for another fun video and as always beautiful stitching. Loving all the patriotic stitching. Wishing you safe travels and have a wonderful time visiting family and stitch camp. Looking forward to seeing you back in June. Pamela A/PA
Thank you so much for your time Carol and for showing us all of your wonderful stitching. I hope you have a wonderful time with your sister and at stitch camp. Love and blessings xx
And what a parade that was Carol!! Even though I'm from the Netherlands, I just love your flag! I just love love love "You're a grand old flag, especially your colours, the house, the roof, love it!
Thank you for a great video. Even though I’m Canadian I love watching your patriotic stitching. And there are some great U.S. patriotic patterns that I’d love to stitch and give away as gifts, but first I need to finish some of my patriotic stitching before Canada Day!
Carol I just loved all the patriotic stitching. I don't have much of them. I was so inspired that I ordered. The Betsy Ross Sampler. And I started it right away. I just need you to know how important you are to this community... there are thousands of people who admire the talent and the work that you do Yes there are hundreds of flosstubers out there and there great, but we consider you the mother of cross stitch and quilting. The queen mother. Lol. You are quite an inspiration to all of us. Please do not take yourself lightly. We need you ....keep doing what your doing. Your a blessing. Linda from Rhode Island
Oh my goodness you are so very kind!!! Thank you so much but I still consider myself a stitcher just like so many others!!! But I do appreciate you giving me so much credit!! Thank you!❤️
You know the saying, Carol "Sharing is caring". When I was going to my local EGA meetings, one.of most fun things was everyone.looking and discussing each other's stitching. I love seeing ALL of it.😊
Love the photograph of your younger years. We all need to remember what we once looked like. I’ve not been a sampler stitcher as borders seem to bore me but I’m finding myself falling in love with them. I’m going to start with some Plum Street & Brenda Gervis. I need more stash-right! Ha!!
