A little trick, but the logic lamps can be used as one way gates. You can use an and gate woth 2 logic lamps on top. The bottom one is a buffer, and the top one causes the lamp to send a pulse when it is toggled
for those curious about how you can get dye super early, you can get the 4 required npc's first by housing the guide, then get 50 silver which is easy to do on first day to spawn the merchant, find a heart crystal and consume it to get the nurse to spawn, and then get a bomb to get the demolitionist, that's also pretty easy. then to get the dye trader to spawn in you just have any dye ingredient in your inventory like blueberries or yellow marigold which are pretty common on the surface, or a pink prickly pear if you find one in the desert. completing this can be pretty map-dependent though and having luck on actually spawning the npc's fast enough. you can definitely do all this by 2nd night though.
I’ve never played hardcore normally, because of how much I’ve died just fighting wall of flesh. Even with 30x spawn rate the Martian invasion has to be the worst way to go out knowing you are close to beating the game.
This series was the most entertaining bunch of terraria videos I've ever watched, it doesn't matter that you died it was still an awesome journey and was well worth your many hours spent working on them. Well done man 👍. Also the Bible verse at the end was a nice touch that I appreciated.
I use the stool each time I get my hands on it and I'm sure a lot of people do, because it's a funny but useful accessory (especially if it is Warding) So uhh RUN INVALIDATED
What an utterly bizarre set of advices. “Craft worthless accessories to get stats early” ok, I dig it, can be useful very early on if you have an excess of shitty pre for some reason. “Go to the marble bios to farm 5% drop from enemies that instakill you, and to whom you deal 1-2 dmg” wtf is this even supposed to mean? Platinum set gives more armor with astronomically less hustle
