question. In photoshop I quickly resize and adjust the hardness of my brush. but in krita it seems like u have to make custom brush presets to achieve different hardness of the brush edge. so instead of doing it on the fly, u have to constantly switch brushes which is annoying. is this really how you have to work? (I know u can change the size using shift + left click, but there's no quick slider on top to change the hardness, nor is there a shortcut like in photoshop u just hold ctrl + alt + drag up or down to change it.) Also there seem to be no buttons to quickly turn off/on pressure sensitivity for size and flow/opacity, so if I wanna use my regular full opacity brush, and quickly paint a little soft spot instead of being able to click the button and have pressure sensitivity I need to change my entire brush?

@@KritaOrgPainting Just a Link to the Site where you download it from. If one cant see where the file comes from it allways leaves a bitter aftertaste. ^^
I stopped using Krita a long time ago, because of the perspective tools. Now that I know Krita has this amazing tool assistant, it's a no-brainer to go back to Krita. Thank you guys!
Love Krita, Krita is so cool and if you can add option that will lead you to the the layer the image is in by clicking on the illustration would make it even more faster
newbie here, love the mirror mode for drawing, but how come i cant edit in mirror mode? when i have it on, im trying to edit my drawing but it just edits the one side, ignoring the mirror
@@KritaOrgPainting It would be interesting to learn more about constructing shadows using Krita. In particular, shadows that fall away from the viewer, i.e. when the sun is behind the viewer.

Thanks, we are much more than AI indeed, and being free open source people can use Krita in a lot of different ways, for example in Video game studios, freelancers, hobby artists, schools... I really liked the painting and thanks for the information. My only complaint is that I wish artists wouldn't make jump cuts in their demo videos with a bunch of unaccounted for changes in the painting. For people who are learning, its so helpful to see the whole process unfold naturally, mistakes and corrections and everything. Jump cuts in the video are pretty jarring when we want to see how the whole painting experience plays out.
Hi, I agree, but the too long videos are not good for others so is hard to left in the right point. I try to not remove all the important parts. And if you are listening you can follow it very well. MAybe it would be cool to make little videos with little exercises instead this entire pictures? let me know
Hello can u help me. I draw the eyes from the right and i want to work smart for less stressed and i copy the right eyes using lasso tool and move it to the left but when i tried to flip it to make the eyes left the whole canvas was flipping horizontally. I dont know how to flip it actually pls help.
you can do freehand selection of the area docs.krita.org/en/reference_manual/tools/freehand_select.html and copy the selection with Ctrl+C and then paste the content with Ctrl+V this creates a new layer.Then you can flip the layer horizontally /menu/layer/transform/Mirror layer horizontally. i hope this helps
