I agree, Law enforcement is my dream job and i am five years away from becoming one and it takes a special kind of person to put their life in danger to keep people you don't know safe so i pray that God protects all LEO'S and help ya'll do your job. Stay safe
I was a security officer at a hospital let me tell you the safe life defense impact resistance was amazing then my hospital decided to get a safari contract never felt so many punches through a vest in my life
I have two Hyperline FRAS bundles with a bunch of extra plates. I’ve only worn them around the house just trying the fit, but damn it’s gotta be lightest rifle plates I’ve ever worn or held. Shit is just so expensive now days and just to buy a plate carrier is gonna cost you a few hundred dollars and then the plates and whatever side panels you get add to the price. If you have the money to spare then I’d highly recommend safe life but if you don’t have 2 grand to spend then I say go elsewhere and buy the heavier bulkier setups that are a little cheaper in price. Either way protection is protection no matter how much it cost or how comfortable it is. Good pricing and comfort just adds to the product.
It is great that you can prevent penetration of a bullet. However it appears that the imparted energy will still cause damage as imparted energy seems not to be addressed. One would still receive damage to flesh and bones due to the proximity of the force not being spread to a larger area not backed by cushioning..
I might be "some guy on the internet" but I truly never understood why not design such a light-weight armor to cover a larger area, like the sides and shoulders. Even the posterior-side of arms. Wouldn't that be a dream for any (high-profile) security guard?
