Ten selected South African media guests were invited to the heart of the Kruger National Park to experience the Grenadier's Pathfinder GPX way-point navigation system.
Staying in a remote, off-grid campsite at Tshokwane River Camp - far away from any cell phone signal - they had to navigate 160 km of recorded paths using only the next way-point and the Grenadier's built-in compass.
Upon successfully navigating the route, the media were invited to learn firsthand the ancient art of animal tracking from our partners at Tracker Academy. Just as the wild animals of this region leave footprints and signs for us to discover, Pathfinder records a breadcrumb-style trail for other Grenadiers to follow.
Not only did the media complete the tasks set for them, but they also had the privilege of seeing the Big 5 along the way.
