Love your video! I made this from your video and I’m ordering your book. Do you eat all of this each day? I could not eat all of that and saved half for the next day.
That's the brand I use of Hemp Hearts, They are so good I eat them right out of the bag.! I believe 1/2 cup of seeds and 4 cups water makes hemp milk great stuff, because I am a bit sensitive to nut milks so its a good alternative. spinach or arugula or brocoli all good pesto and parsley too. I just went out into amazon and ordered the book, I got 38 % discount, let people know ,we are prime members. Great deal
I am not plant based, but I love your channel, because I try to eat as healthy as I can. For example, yesterday on my channel I made my own tomato paste. Sugar-free & salt free. I also learned about Hemp hearts, which I use in a few smoothies and yogurt and salad dressing like ranch. So I just am inspired by you lovely ladies. I always watch my salt and sodium. I have just went through open-heart surgery with my hubby and it's so important to watch your diet. I do my best and continue to try. Love your channel and family.❤🩹❤🩹❤🩹❤🩹p.s. I have TMJ, so I am actually on a soft diet right now, I had braces in my 30's and still have flare-ups, not fun. Hope you feel better.
I was skeptical about this concoction, but I"ve had it two mornings in a row, and I'm a convert! It's so filling and satisfying. Yesterday was the first day in a long time that I didn't spend the rest of the day planning my next snack. Thanks, Ann!
Let Ann talk more and don’t point out what she supposedly does wrong such as you left dry you left dry oh look it was dry on bottom. Does it matter. Ann makes the show
For this recipe, I used 1 cup of cilantro with the other original ingredients & amounts plus 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes & 1/4 tsp black pepper; blended it in a small blender. It's delicious!! 😋🥰 Thank you for your base recipe. 😉
I absolutely love basil walnut pesto! However I've found that basil loses it's flavor profile when heated. So I blend it all raw and then just put it over my hot drained pasta and serve.
I watched this earlier today and decided to make it for dinner and it was absolutely delicious. I had just brought in some basil from the garden, and when I packed it in, it was exactly one cup, and though it didn’t have that much of a basil flavor with all the other flavors, especially the garlic cause I put in some extra garlic cloves, it really tasted delicious.
9-23-2024 - - - - I didn't learn "the power of oats" watching this. I didn't learn why this is eaten "raw" without cooking. The old woman interrupted too much - hey girl - go sit down. I didn't hear what kind of oats this is - is it Quaker rolled oats? Is it Cold Rolled oats? What is it? What kind of liquid was that - maybe I missed it. Show the label on the box so we can see what's going on. You should re-do this video. Cheers.
Jane, I think the word you're looking for is "creamy." I had braces in my late 50s and I ate more soft veg soup than should be legal. lol Now's the time to invest in companies that make dental floss. You'll go through enough to supply the U.S.Military in a couple of months.
I find it confusing when you use a lot of nuts & other high fat vegan foods which are not part of doctor Esselstyn's prevent & reverse heart disease diet. That makes me think twice about ordering your cookbooks.
I would say that you would have to know what foods you can or cannot have. I don’t have any heart challenges so I do enjoy nuts and avocados 🥑 ☺️. Where my hubby has to watch high fat intake and avoid nuts until his #’s are better 👌
@@darinkagolob7668 I see your point but I'm also thinking of general vascular health. You may think your heart is fine but if & when you get a heart attack or stroke, it may be be too late to change. I also love nuts & avocados!
@@sherril.562 I just saw his website today. It's great! Yea, I've heard for a long time that nuts are good. Sometimes it depends where your priorities lie.
I don’t necessarily think that’s it. Maybe they just wanted to provide some options for people who have extra protein needs. I’ve been directed to increase mine because I’m on Ozempic for type 2 diabetes and weight loss and it’s important to increase protein intake while on this medication to avoid muscle loss. It’s good to offer options. Nobody is forcing anyone to make these or even watch.
Thank you for asking! No-we are not at all. We wanted to see how it affected the number of views/audience/interest in plant-based recipes. Pesto is not really❤😊 seen as a high protein recipe!
This is very inspired. I'll have to try it! 😃 What I eat first in the morning is an apple with peanut butter and hot tea. I add my own custom blend of spices to the peanut butter that include the ones you use. (So I'm inspired to share.) Spice mix: turmeric, black pepper, ginger, garlic, onion, amla, and cayenne - equal quantity of each, except for the cayenne, just half quantity. This blend keeps well in a spice jar. Apple: Gala, Envy, Pink Lady, or Honey Crisp, Gala being a favorite. Tea: English Breakfast, or East Frisian BOP from Upton Tea Imports. It's kept the doctor away. 😃
I love your channel. You provide excellent information, and you're very nice people. I wish you would stop using the word "warrior." We have enough war, of any kind, in the world.
