Ran 8 miles in them on the treadmill, session of 6 x 1 mile at 6minute pace with one minute recoveries. Felt great. Lighter, softer and more responsive. Nicer upper too. Review video coming soon 👍
From my first run, yes better than the 3. The 3 took a few miles for me to softer up as get used to. This was light, smooth and springy right out of the box.
if you look at the running form, you will know why jakob is strong, his running form is more relax and efficient, his foot landed right on the centre of gravity where others looks Overstriding compared to jakob, just my observation
Does anyone face problems with the LP7 on hard wet surfaces? I have problems with that. I am afraid approaching such surfaces and have to walk gingerly.
I guess occasionally on smooth wet surfaces as with most trail shoes you can get a little slip, but it’s not more noticeable for me in these than any other shoes tbh.
That's 2 sub 4 minute miles back to back ! Komen beat the 8 minute barrier, and Ingebrigtsen beat Komens time... both under 8 minutes. Ingebrigtsen will need to beat the 1500m and mile world records though, to be acknowledged as a super runner (like Morceli and El Guerrouj). Maybe he will... maybe he won't.
He is absolutely unbelievable! I think he will also break the 1500 and a mile and maybe even more world records. He’s very close on both of those and he even has a very competitive 5K in the top 20 all time.
I LOVE mizunos - the only sneaker that has ever worked for me - so I was excited to find this video, but where does one purchase these with a free return policy? I'm not sure what size I'd be - I waver between two sizes - so I'd need to be able to order both sizes and return one.
Great time and video. Ran it yday in 6h24m, beating my previous best by 13mins. Was a perfect day weather wise, no wind or rain and about 1degree. Path was a bit muddy, and caught a fair few walkers on single file sections. Think I can get a sub 6 hour time after watching this video for sure sometime soon. Thanks !
