@@pjmoreland Hi Pat. It's Brian. I would argue that a Vacuum Gauge tells you many things. A water temp gauge just tells you what temp your coolant is running. An Oil Pressure gauge tells your if you O P is too high or too low. An Ammeter tells you if you're charging or not. A Voltmeter gives you the voltage. But a Vacuum gauge can tell you if you have a vacuum leak, a broken valve, if you're coming downhill, going uphill, operating normally, where your fuel economy is best, your A/F mixture sweet spot when tuning. You just have to study the gauge and know what its indications mean.
I loved and admired how Donna played Miss.Ellie. I thought she did a wonderful job in Dallas. I also liked how Barbara Bel Geddes played Miss.Ellie as well. I still believe they both brought dignity, respect, and warmth to the character of Miss.Ellie. God Bless - Jason
@@LocoF111 I like having the taller first gear. The TKX replaced a 700R4 which had a lower first gear that felt too low to me. I do have small wheels though at 26.25", so that makes a difference.
I was pretty sure from your other video the speedo was off. Looked too quick for a mild 350. You ended your pull at 80 mph on your speedometer yet base model family cars were still passing you as you entered the highway. So you were going more like 70 tops

@@pjmoreland do you think a 223/223 lift 448/448 cam will work with the vortec heads that’s the cam I have now and I just got the heads to replace the 76cc smoggers I have on now I’m also running .30 flat tops
@@JaviOro1968 The cam I used has .477"/.480" lift with the stock rockers, and the spring retainers had adequate clearance with the stock valve seals. I did use GM 12499224 beehive springs based on a recommendation in a video by Cutter's Performance, if I remember correctly.
@@JaviOro1968 062 have slightly better flow, but 906 have pressed in hard exhaust seats. Personally, I prefer the durability of the pressed in exhaust seats, but I get the impression most people prefer the improved flow
My old man just sold a mint 72 Super Cheyenne that he had for 30 years. It brought an insane amount of money. He bought a 72 SS Chevelle the next day 😂
There is a 1/4 drive screwdriver that has a spring type shank that is flexible and makes reaching into the top screw and turning easier. I use this tool all the time when working on appliance repairs. Add it to your tool box.
Excellent - thank yoiu for measuring the hysteresis, that number will be handy for me; and for documenting the delay valve as well; the approx two seconds of delay is worth knowing; i can find that valve online if i need it; thank you.
I removed the injector that wasn't functioning, and the electrical connector had been installed crooked by Holley so that the connector terminals weren't actually slid onto the pins in the injector. They were just loosely touching the sides of the pins. I inspected the other connectors as well, and one other one on the other side was also plugged in incorrectly. While I was in there, I installed zip ties around the connectors to help keep them in place. They don't fit very tightly. Now all four of the injectors are working again.
Just did this job on 2015 Ford explorer, the back bolt on the actuator is a pain to get to with all the harness in the way , I did it successfully but it was a pain
I picked up a set of vortec heads for 100 bucks and an intake for 150 from a guy who thought the heads were bad. I went through them just to check them, nothing wrong. I put them on my 87 k5 and went to a carb. Just that alone woke that 350 up and believe it or not, I beat a 2020 Denali 1500 on the freeway. I need to do the cam and converter next.
