They have already confirmed that some of the games major issues likes level scaling are being tweaked and the new route seems to have much more story (as in it has an actual plot that exists) If it turns out to be bad I’ll eat my own words but they’ve added probably the most amount of content for an atlus re release probably ever, I didn’t even finish 5 so this isn’t even coming from a 5 defender The dub for reload is a downgrade tho like wow. How come all the sequels with amazing gameplay have mid stories (5, 4a) but all the games with mid gameplay have god tier stories (Strange Journey, Soul Hackers)
Paldea would work better in a linear style and in 2d. If I made this game I’d make it linear however the “routes” we see in traditional games would be bigger and more expansive with a lot of Pokémon sorta like mini wild areas but just in 2d

It's funny cus i completely 100% agree with you about everything you said about THIS game. But like... EVERY SINGLE. THING outside the game, every example you gave actually made my blood boil. So it's like... You are basically just whining about everything and just now i guess you happened t land on an actual bad game
Scarlet and violet have a good story and even great characters. But the performence of the game and open world hold them back, IF only the game is as good as the story.
Imagine gen 10 be like gen 8 with a better story and characters and less rushed. Then pokemon can finally return to glory. Also you highlight the cons instead of the pros. I'm serious.
This my favorite JRPG of all time. Ive been trying to complete 100% which is collecting demons and hot damn i got all the fiends and it took me 10 hours to get. Theres so much depth.

Get R4 reproduction cartridges for the Pokémon games of Gens 4 & 5. After that, connect to fanservers to obtain all the old event distributions like the mythicals. There's hope for you and your friend to catch them all without having to worry about scalpers overinflating prices anymore.
The game hasn't been good since Gen 4. I played Violet for less than 8 hours, and when I turned it off, all I wanted to do was start a new game on Platinum.
I havent played a AAA title in years that felt like it was worth the cost of admission. The gaming industry is shifting focus big-time, and it's just not for us anymore. It's for the Fortnite generation now, and us oldies should probably just screw off.

Personally, I don't think we need to bash on the original game in order to praise Reload. The original was still incredibly groundbreaking in many aspects. Was it perfect? No, but I actually liked the battle system in the original. Tartarus was a grindy slog and I do not miss the fatigue system at ALL, but I never seemed to hate Tartarus as a whole as much as others. Reload obviously improves virtually everything about the game, but Persona as a series wouldn't still be going if P3 wasn't a success and had many merits to love. It's just that the game design has evolved since then.
for sure. it wasn't my intention to outright say that the original version of p3 was bad, but i see where you're coming from. it's definitely still an iconic game, it's just that rpgs (and people's attention spans) have changed so much since then that people aren't as willing to put up with that shit anymore
Your last and closing statement is the sentiment behind why I just bought my buddies 2DS XL and modded it. I now have Generations one through seven on one device. I never got to 0lay any of the DS Pokemons cuz I never had a DS back in the day. Now I have enough Pokemon content to keep my heart content for a while..
I would've gotten the game if they took the opportunity to finally consolidate all the different versions of P3 (Fes, P3p, etc) without nickel and diming us through DLC bundles for a game I'm already expected to drop $70 on. P3P (gets rid of most if the janky issues with P3/P3FES) plus watching the extra FES chapter on YT can give me the same experience as Reload with less stress on my wallet.
I think people really underestimate how much work it would actually take to implement the P3P stuff into a game of this scale, and they clearly were not given the proper time constraints to do so if they had trouble getting approval for The Answer. That said, the pricing is still shit.
